We are NOT impressed.

For those who are unfamiliar with them, the Courage Campaign is "an online organizing network that empowers more than 700,000 grassroots and netroots activists to push for progressive change and full equality in California and across the country."

According to the group's Facebook page, they requested that online travel company Orbitz drop their advertisement from "anti-gay Fox."

An Orbitz Spokesperson replied by referring to the request as "the tired tactics of these shady so-called non-profit fringe groups."

Hard for us to imagine that the Orbitz folks could ACTUALLY think that was a smart way to respond! It'd be one thing to politely decline the request, but to refer to the Courage Campaign as "shady?"

Looks like you won't be making too many new friends today, Orbitz! Might want to take a cue from Lars von Trier and issue a sincere apology. Just sayin'.
