Such good news!
Gavin Creel has joined up to lead The Book of Mormon on it's National Tour!
He's Tony nominated, and this is what he had to say:
“I’m a huge South Park fan, loved Avenue Q and can not wait to work with Trey Parker, Matt Stone, Bobby Lopez and Casey Nicholaw. Elder Price is an amazing role and I am so excited to take The Book of Mormon across the country.”
It sounds like he has the excitement and motivation, that's for sure!
We'd love to work with Parker and Stone too!

Your skin, duh!
Marc Jacobs is taking a different approach for his latest Protect The Skin You're In campaign t-shirts.
Rather than featuring nekked models, the designer got Eric Cartman, Randy Marsh and Butters Stotch of South Park to strip down for him.

The Church of Scientology will NOT be pleased to hear this…but pretty much everyone else WILL!
Comedy Central and South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have just signed a new deal, in which the show will remain on the air through 2016! Hooray!!!
For those of U who haven't been keeping count, that means that the show is going to reach the 20 season mark!!!!
Here's what Comedy Central president Michele Ganeless had to say about it:
Those are some IN-TENSE enemies you've got there, South Park! Hell, pretty soon they're going to have their own Super Power Building!
We were seriously creeped out to learn that the Church of Scientology reportedly launched an investigation against South Park through "informants, public records, and various other means" in an effort to search for "vulnerabilities" in Trey Parker and Matt Stone's lives. WTF?!?
Even though the Church wasn't able to do any serious damage to the South Park creators and their show, they WERE able to get the Scientology-themed episode Trapped in the Closet taken off the air.
How did they pull that off, you might ask? Tom Cruise allegedly refused to promote Mission: Impossible III if the episode was EVER aired on Comedy Central as a re-run.
Here's what Trey and Matt wrote in response:
We're in that time of year that if you want to go see a Broadway show on the cheap, you'd better move it. From post-Labor Day through Thanksgiving, the Great White Way doesn't see very much action and the theaters all feel the sting right at the beginning of September.
That is, except for The Eugene O'Neill Theatre, home of The Book Of Mormon. In Broadway's annual post-Labor Day slump, the show managed to outsell standards like Wicked and The Lion King, pulling in $1,293,582 last week! Wicked, which has a higher capacity at the Gershwin than the Eugene, only brought in $1,293,582.
God must be on those boys side! Hows it feel to be smooth sailing, Trey Parker and Matt Stone???
Yeah, you heard us. Book of Mormon, The Movie. You know who wants this to happen?
You, US … and the masterminds behind it all, Trey Parker & Matt Stone!
As Book of Mormon conintues to be a force to be reckoned with on the Great White Way, the South Park dudes turned Broadway producers admit that they have big plans for the show behind the twinkling lights of New York. In their minds, they're already planning on making a big screen adaptaion of the show, probably in the next "several years" confirmes Trey.
Matt elaborates that the show still has a lot of ground to cover on Broadway and during its tour, but insists that when BOM is ready for the big screen, it will already have a well-arranged team in place. Matt explains:
