We are hankering for some exquisite Adele live-action!!

And what better venue to make one's post-pregnancy "return" performance than the Oscar's elite stage?!

The Empress of soulful heartbreak tunes took time off from the music scene once she became preggers with little baby no-name (she hasn't released it yet!)…

But rumor has it she'll perform her killer Bond theme Skyfall during the February 24th awards ceremony, as part of a James Bond tribute for the franchise's 50th year celebration!

Skyfall also made the shortlist as one of the 75 original songs that may be chosen for Oscar consideration.

So basically, she could totally use the Oscar statue that she'll inevitably win as a faux-microphone for her performance. You know, realllllly rubbing it in.

Naaah, Lady Adele is FAR too classy for such shenanigans!

Well, according to Elton John, it's the Boss himself Bruce Springsteen!

And MusiCares agrees! The charity is naming Bruce its Person of the Year for his work in support of Hurricane Sandy relief. CEO Neil Portnow says:

The iconic women of Heart performed a tribute to rock LEGENDS Led Zeppelin at the Kennedy Center Honors ceremony when they played a magical rendition of Zep's classic, somber jam Stairway to Heaven (above)!

Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones sat in the audience obviously touched by the stellar cover which included a gospel choir!

President Obama also attended the prestigious event and joked about being in the presence of some of the most notorious rock and roll musicians.

So many hearts for this heartfelt performance by HEART!
