Olivia Wilde As Lois Lane Lara Croft? Yes, Please!

olivia wilde as lara croft in new tomb raider

We think she should play the new Lois Lane AND Lara Croft! Maybe Wonder Woman too, whenever that happens…

Last we heard about the Tomb Raider reboot, Megan Fox had turned down the Lara Croft role, because she couldn't handle the comparison to Angelina Jolie.

Now, it looks like Olivia Wilde is rumored to be up for the role, and we're thinking she'd be wonderful in it!

Here's what a source had to say about it:

"This would be a far darker and more serious Tomb Raider movie, the idea is to get a top director and an intelligent script and make this an empowering character for women as well as a popular one with men. Olivia is just one of the names being suggested for the lead role. She would appear to be ideal."

Sounds like she'd be a great match to us! After her work in Tron: Legacy, we def think she'd be right for a role like this.

Would U like to see Olivia Wilde raid tombs?

Olivia Wilde As Lois Lane? Yes Please!

olivia wilde up for lois lane role

Earlier this week, we were SO excited to report that The Tudors' Henry Cavill landed the role of Superman in the upcoming reboot of the franchise.

Now, it looks like Olivia Wilde is a strong contender for the Lois Lane role, and we think she's PERFECT for it!

Sure, it would have been cool to see Christina Hendricks as Miss Superman, but we def think Olivia can pull this off.

According to a source, Wilde has already screen tested for the role.

Good luck, Olivia! We hope they give you the chance to bring some of that Tron: Legacy hotness to the Man Of Steel's world!

Do U think Olivia Wilde is a good choice for Lois Lane?

Joe Jonas' Solo Album Inspired By Daft Punk?!

joe-jonas-compares-solo-album-to-electronic-dance-daft-punk-sound

All right!

We think that this kind of switch-up will be much-needed if he wants this album to be a success!

Joe Jonas recently opened up about his upcoming solo project, which is being produced by Danja, and he's revealed that he wants his new sound to be similar to what Daft Punk did for the TRON: Legacy soundtrack!

He explains:

"I think for me the biggest influences are Daft Punk. I love their music. There's a guy, Frankmusik, out of London, a lot of electro DJs out in Europe are doing some cool stuff right now. I just listen to a bunch of stuff you dance to, kind of electro-based. A lot of stuff that's so amazing [that] you can create on the computer. I think, for both of us, we are huge fans of the new 'Tron' movie. To be able to go on a musical journey for a while and finally with finding Danja and working with him, we've been able to collaborate on something that really works for me. And to find me and not try to mold it into something it's not, to try and be myself and my music and kind of tell stories and be honest and just have something … when people hear it, hopefully they'll be able to dance to it and have a good time."

Excellent!

We're not going to lie, we have a hard time picturing Joe taking his sound down this route, but if he can pull it off - and given Danja's presence, he just might - we think it's going to balls-to-the-wall AMAZING!

Get that dubstep on, bb!

We want to see if you can get us to want to dance the night away!

What do U think?? What should Joe's solo album sound like??

The Lion King And Other Disney Classics Going 3D

lion king and beauty and the best 3d blu ray coming soon

We're thinking Circle of Life is going to be AWESOME in 3D!

Sometimes studios can go too far with 3D, but these might actually be cool.

This year, Disney will start re-releasing a bunch of their classic movies on blu-ray in three dimensions, including The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Chicken Little.

They'll also be debuting some of their more recent hits on blu-ray 3D, such as Tron: Legacy and Tangled.

Overkill? Maybe. Will the stampede scene in The Lion King be super intense with that extra dimension? DEFINITELY!

What Disney movies would U like to see in 3D?

Little Fockers Dominates Holiday Weekend Box Office

little fockers number 1 at box office

Little Fockers may have been #1 at the box office, but True Grit was the REAL winner this weekend.

Universal's third Fockers movie got the top spot with $48.3 million, whereas the new Coen Brothers movie earned $36.8 million.

Despite its top spot, this marked a weak opening for the Fockers film, which studios were expecting would bring in $60 million for its first weekend.

On the other hand, this weekend marked the best opening yet for a Coen Bros movie with True Grit!

A Jeff Bridges movie also took the 3rd spot, with Tron: Legacy.

Apparently Gulliver's Travels also opened this weekend, and it landed the #7 spot with $7.2 million.

Congrats to the Coen Bros for holding their own against Little Fockers!

What movie did U see over the holiday weekend?

Sorry, Reese!

how-do-you-know-box-office-tanks

This is pretty brutal!

With TRON: Legacy currently topping the box office, the new James L. Brooks-directed film, How Do You Know, pulled in only $7.6 million from 2,483 theaters, placing it at the number eight spot, behind limited release films like The Fighter and Black Swan!

Ouch!

We hope Reese isn't too disappointed!

You'll be back on top with your RPatz movie, bb!

Lord knows that will pull in the Twi-Hards big bucks like nothing else!
