The Man of Steel is showing he can be a hero in real life too!
Henry Cavill visited the Edwards Air Force Base to visit modern day heroes while taking a break from the Superman set on January 31st.
Over 100 Airmen came to get autographs and have photogs snap pictures of them with Cavill.
The Englishman said the following on his visit:

The married couple (two years strong) visited San Diego's Camp Pendleton for the Thanksgiving Salute to the Troops celebration.
