Fourth time's the charm!

Leonardo DiCaprio FINALLY won the BAFTA Award for Best Actor! While the acclaimed actor has been nominated four times for the coveted award, he had never won… until NOW!

That HAS to be a good sign for the Oscars, right?!

The 41-year-old took the stage at the Royal Opera House on Sunday to take home his first BAFTA trophy for his work in The Revenant.

Leo thanked costar Tom Hardy for being a loyal friend and collaborator, raved about director Alejandro González Iñárritu, and adorably gushed about his mom on her birthday.

Awwwww! So sweet!

The gorgeous guy was nominated among other powerful performers like Eddie Redmayne (The Danish Girl), Michael Fassbender (Steve Jobs), Matt Damon (The Martian), and Bryan Cranston (Trumbo).

While tons of stars have put the Academy on blast for not properly representing minorities, Helen Mirren thinks it's "unfair" to attack them for the lack of diversity in the Oscars nominees!

On Wednesday, the Trumbo actress addressed the controversy with England's Channel 4 News, and came to the defense of the Academy!

This is totally Leonardo DiCaprio's year to win an Oscar!

The actor just earned a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in The Revenant!

And no one was happier for him than his number one fan — Kate Winslet!

Right before he went up to the stage, Leo's Titanic costar rushed up to his table and gave him a hug! Awwww!

The actor beat out some tough competition — including Bryan Cranston for his role in Trumbo, Johnny Depp for Black Mass, Michael Fassbender for Steve Jobs, and Eddie Redmayne for The Danish Girl!

Now, we can only hope Leo is just as lucky and finally gets that Oscar in a few weeks — we know Kate will be keeping her fingers crossed!

Alicia Vikander Snags Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Supporting Role At The 2016 SAG Awards!

We've seen so many great performances by women in film this year, which means competition is TOUGH in the female acting categories this awards season!

But that isn't a problem for Alicia Vikander who just won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role at the SAG Awards!

Winning for her moving performance in The Danish Girl, the actress edged out some tough competition — including Rooney Mara, Rachel McAdams, Helen Mirren, and Kate Winslet!

In her speech, Vikander thanked her costar Eddie Redmayne — and also talked about how watching her mother perform when she was young inspired her to become an actor!

The 2016 Oscar nominations were announced early Thursday morning in El Lay, and while we're so happy for Leonardo DiCaprio, Brie Larson, and George Miller, we couldn't help but notice some names left off the list…

What about Michael B. Jordan's film-carrying performance in Creed, Oscar Isaac's creepy cool genius in Ex Machina, and even Helen Mirren in both Woman In Gold AND Trumbo?!

Did you see RED?? She's not a Dame to f*ck with!

Plus, there were TWO front-runner films snubbed for Best Picture!

So which other Hollywood heavyweights failed to get the recognition they deserve this time around…

Leonardo DiCaprio Might Not Have An Oscar… But He Did Win The Golden Globe For Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama!

Sure, it's not an Oscar, but he'll take it anyway!

Leonardo DiCaprio took home the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama on Sunday, which could actually be a good sign for the upcoming awards show!

The blonde babe won the trophy for his role in The Revenant, which is a HUGE deal considering he was up against some tough competition!

The 41-year-old beat out big names like Bryan Cranston (Trumbo), Michael Fassbender (Steve Jobs), Eddie Redmayne (The Danish Girl), and Will Smith (Concussion)!

So who knows! Maybe the Academy will FINALLY give the Hollywood hunk his well-deserved award this year!

Kate Hudson, Channing Tatum, Julianne Moore, & MORE Announced To Present At This Year's Golden Globes!

The Golden Globes are one of the most prestigious nights in Hollywood!

But for Kate Hudson, it's a regular family affair!

That's because it was announced Tuesday that the Mother's Day actress will present at this year's ceremony alongside her step-dad Kurt Russell, whose film The Hateful Eight is up for three awards!

We're not sure why Goldie Hawn and Oliver Hudson weren't asked to join… but we'll take it anyway!

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association revealed a few other notable presenters for the night; including Jim Carrey, Amy Adams, Jamie Foxx, Julianne Moore, Channing Tatum, Amber Heard, Patricia Arquette, J.K. Simmons, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Jaimie Alexander!

Some actors will be serving double duty as presenters AND nominees, like Eddie Redmayne who was nominated for The Danish Girl and Helen Mirren who snagged a nod for her role in Trumbo!

We're not sure which of these esteemed presenters Ricky Gervais will have the most fun roasting, but we have a feeling fellow Brit Mirren can take a friendly jab or two!
