Upon her arrival at JFK airport earlier today, the troubled actress was pulled aside to get a VERY serious pat down from airport TSA at the security checkpoint.

We have to admit, despite our difficulty sympathizing for her, we’d hate to be in her shoes. Those pat downs, whilst completely understandable, can be totes degrading.

While dodging threats of lawsuits from Amanda Bynes this afternoon, we stumbled across the most random tweet!

Amanda Seyfried was flying through Newark, NJ, and was mistaken for a different celebrity by someone in the airport!

Oooh, intruiging! Was it Veronica Lake? Tippi Hedren?!

Oh, we know! It must've been Linda Lovelace, the woman she just portrayed in the hit indie biopic Lovelace!

Nope. Not even close!

If you're one of those people that likes to carry a small pocket knife because it becomes super handy a few times a month, but always forgets to take it out of your pocket before you go to the airport, we have good news for you!

Earlier this month, Nathan and Annie Forck headed to Disney World in Orlando, FL with their two children and 3-year-old daughter, Lucy who suffers from spinal bifida and is confined to a wheelchair — and just when they thought they were going on a super fun trip, the TSA in their home state of Missouri made going through security frightening.

In the video (above), Annie demonstrates how her little angel was detained by TSA for a pat down and a swabbing of her wheel chair.

We honestly don't think a toddler that's crying her eyes out should ever go through a measure like this, but it didn't seem like airport security gave a hoot because they even took the girl's stuffed animal, Lamby!

It might be time for TSA to brush up on how to handle children because they have no idea what they're doing.

Unfortunately, when celebs get special treatment, it's usually at the expense of everyone else!

Kim Kardashian and her baby-daddy Kanye West caused all sorts of DRAMA at JFK Tuesday when they bypassed security checkpoints before getting on a plane.

This is obviously a BIG NO NO, thus the plane was held up for almost an hour while the celeb couple got strip-searched patted down…

But WHY did they have to bypass security? Do they really think themselves that important?!

After lots of pressure from Congress, the TSA has finally decided to study the effects of X-ray body scanners.

Odds are you or someone you know has been though a TSA full body backscatter scanner at least once before.

They are going to contract with the National Academy of Sciences to study the health effects of these machines.
