Slash just isn't a fan.
Though many aritsts are lining up around the block to get their music covered on the hit FOX T.V. show, former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash has revealed he and frontman Axl Rose were approached by the show's producers personally to get a song of theirs on Glee. The boys turned them down. Slash explains:
"In the current climate of what’s going on in entertainment these days, I try to be more optimistic than negative because it’s really easy to get negative about it, but I draw the line at Glee. Glee is worse than Grease and Grease is bad enough… When Grease came out, I was like, 'Oh c’mon, give me a break.' Actually, I look at Grease now and think, 'Between High School Musical and Glee, Grease was a brilliant work of art.'"
First of all, Grease was a brilliant work of art!
Second, yeah, the show's not for everybody. We could see how Slash could take issue with the music makers behind the show reworking his artistic expression to fit their own musical mold.
But in the end, he's the one who is missing out. Just ask any of the other artists the show has covered and they'll tell you - it's pretty sweet to watch your music rise in the charts right along side theirs.
To each their own!

Whoa! They must have really wanted her!
But Gayle King stuck to her guns and turned down the opportunity to compete on ABC's Dancing with the Stars three times!!
When Oprah's BFF was asked why she repeatedly turned down the dancing show, Gayle replied:
"I think it's good to keep my public humiliation to a minimum. I would never want to embarrass my children ever…or myself! I can't dance."
She is a fan of the show though! Who's her favorite dancer on the current season of DWTS?? She says, "I like Jennifer Grey, but I also like that guy Kyle [Massey]. I didn't know him, but he has personality and moves."
We don't think Gayle's dancing would be nearly as bad as her singing! But we still would have loved to see her shake her thang.
Do U think Gayle would be a good contestant on DWTS??

Vogue publisher Conde Nast has turned down Cameroonian photographer Mario Epanya's campaign to make Vogue Africa a reality.
Epanya went all out in his quest to get the magazine published by creating fake covers as well as producing other images that would fill the pages of the African glossy.
Kind of odd considering Vogue is already published in 18 countries. Wonder what their reasoning was?
Thoughts???

Moron! When RiRi asks you go out with her, you say YES!
Sean Kingston STOOPIDLY turned down a chance to go clubbing with Rihanna because he didn't have anything ironed!
He reveals:
"Rihanna asked me to go clubbing with her. Looking back I can't believe I said no just because I didn't have any clothes ironed. But I couldn't go out with a superstar looking bad."
Then you go and you BUY clothes that aren't wrinkled, bb!
We're sure you had a great night at home watching re-runs of Ghost Whisperer instead, didn't you?
Bwa ha ha!
