Just a few hours ago, the newsmaker tried to quell a rising tide of controversy around her unfortunate comments about star NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. with a lengthy Instagram apology for the world to see.

In a recent interview with People, the country crooner dished how much he hates getting dressed up.

Guess that's why we always see him in button-ups and jeans on the red carpet!

Anyway, the 39-year-old explained the real reasoning, citing the black-tie wedding he attended earlier this year. He revealed:

"I had to get a full-on vest and the rented tux and did that whole deal… If you get dressed up the right way, it should be fitted to you. But when things are fitted to me, it's hard for me to disguise man boobs and gut and all that stuff, so it's all sticking out!"

Oh, please!

We've seen Blake in a three-piece before and he looked completely handsome! But we totally feel him if that's not where his comfort level is at.

It's a good thing his girlfriend is so stylish. We're sure she could give a couple pointers!

The dapper duo seem to have foregone the night's theme and instead went with traditional tux and tails.

Not a bad move, considering they look like the top of a wedding cake — delish!

Host with the most Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness hit the red carpet of the 2014 Tony Awards looking quite excited for the evening ahead!

Hugh, who has hosted the show 3 times previously, still looks pretty dapper in his tux, even if it's a bit boring. But maybe he's saving all that for his opening number.
