Jessica & Ashlee Simpson Team Up For Tween Line


Ashlee and Jessica Simpson are collaborating and it's not in the studio!

The sisters Simpson announced they are joining forces to create a tween clothing line that will launch under the uber-successful Jessica Simpson Collection brand.

The unnamed collection is set to roll out later this year and will include everything a girl could want: denim, knits, hoodies, pullovers, graphic tees, outerwear and footwear.


Jess said of her latest business venture:

"Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand. I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens."

Ash added:

"My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion."

And as if Jessica hasn't already made enough money with her fashion empire, the tween collection is expected to rake in an additional $20 million next year.

Lola Is A Multilingual Designer!

Madonna isn't raising no fool!

Lourdes Leon may be living a life of luxury, but the fashion forward tween is pretty damn smart.

The spawn of Madonna spends her free time in the classroom or the dance studio.

Lola takes 2 hour dance classes on Saturday morning at 6am, which is on top of piano, acting and language lessons. In addition to English, the 13 year old can speak French fluently and is currently learning Spanish and Italian!


Sounds to us like Madge is preparing little Lola to take over the world with her many talents.

Kimora's New Line Is Couture Kouture


It seems Macy's is the place to go for celebrities to launch their lines.

And Kimora Lee Simmons is launching a new and exclusive line for Macy's called Kouture.

The junior collection, Kouture by Kimora, is actually reasonably priced, with items between $20 and $35.

Kimora reveals:

“It’s very trendy, it’s very young and it’s very fun. I wanted to do something that spoke to a different market for Macy’s.

It sits in a different section. I wanted this to be crossover. I wanted this to be colorless and really about fashion. And it’s what I call recession proof.

It’s really important to say that. You can get a cocktail dress with a bustier top and satin skirt for 30 bucks. You can get a great jean for $19.99.”

Considering most tweens don't have that much disposable income, making the items pretty affordable is a smart move on Kimora's part.

The clothing line will consist of jeans, rompers, blazer, and even studded leather jackets.

Magazines Embrace Bieber Fever


Good news for all those Justin Bieber obsessed tweens.

According to Advertising Age reporter Nat Ives Twitter:

a mag distributor has promised retailers that Faces and Word Up teen mags will feature Justin #Bieber *every* issue this year

We just hope the next time he's on a cover, there's no more impersonating Carol Channing.
