Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Darnell Dockett just got a crocodile!

Dockett has spent the lockout finding himself an exotic pet and tweeting about it:

"I just bought this! His new name is NINO."

As a Florida State alum we would expected Darnell to get an alligator — but maybe Nino the crock is the next best thing.

Escaped Baboon Flees Cops At Full Speed: MyFoxPHILLY.com

OMG! Everyone, stop what you're doing!

Gawd, crime must be running a little slow in NJ this week cause there's a mad police hunt for a baboon. LOL.

Authorities continued their search Friday for an olive baboon that is believed to have escaped the Wild Safari attraction at the Six Flags Great Adventure park in southern New Jersey.

The animal was spotted twice Friday morning in the area around the park in Jackson, N.J., after its escape earlier in the week, according to the Asbury Park Press.

Online, the baboon already has two fake Twitter accounts — @JerseyBaboon and @BaboonOnTheRun — and a big online following, in the same vein as the early 2011 escape @BronxZoocobra.

Nothing says romance like a close encounter with a lion!

Before embarking on the adventure of marriage with an upcoming televised special on TLC, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo set off on an African adventure on Monday. And within hours of touching down in Tanzania, they were greeted by a fierce furry native!

"WOW!! You don't see a lioness on the side of the road everyday. Amazing!!"

He said when tweeting this pic.

It seems like the couple's extended family are excited to see more photos from their trip.

Lachey's brother, Drew, suggested on Twitter that Minnillo bring a circular polarizer for her camera.

Minnillo Tweeted that she was plenty prepared: "I got a new lens, a mono-pod, and the backpack to carry! @thedrewlachey would be so proud! Haha!"

Last night former Disney bad girl turned sobriety spokesperson Demi Lovato was tweeting up storm!

The Sunny With A Chance star confided to her followers:

"Recovery is a daily battle, but such a beautiful gift from God that only YOU can give yourself."

She followed this tweet with more profound thoughts… JK!! She started posted some super cute pics of her puppy!

She captioned the pics:

"Seeeeepy ollliii…"

"I effing LOVE this dog…. Gahh… "

Then she quickly snapped back to reality, by adding:

"Btw it's funny how people come around now that your back on your feet and comin' out with a single… #wherewereyouLASTYEAR?!'

Really Bronx Zoo?

A fugitive Peacock has become the second animal to escape the Bronx zoo this year, evading all attempts to recapture her.

It is unclear how the brightly coloured fowl escaped the zoo, but determined handlers armed with nets were thwarted as the Peahen simply flew away when approached.

The New York Daily news reported the Peahen was spotted yesterday perching on top of a parked van a few blocks from its Bronx home. But as the net wielding zoo workers approached, the Peahen flew off, hiding in a nearby patch of tall grass.

Refusing to give up, the team crept to within a few feet of the animal, before she flew off again. God, that sounds entertaining.

Like her escapee predicessor the Bronz Zoo Cobra the urban bird has taken to twitter!

The Peacock says she's looking to get more followers than @BronxZooCobra and thinks she deserves it. She said "For the record: I did a better job at escaping the zoo. #iactuallyleft".

Ouch, stung by a peacock.

Julianne Hough was arm in arm with Ryan at the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala in New York on Monday night, but before she left for the star-studded bash that Julianne tweeted a little PDA with her new puppy Hilary.

Before she hit the red carpet to honor late designer Alexander McQueen, Hough posted this pic tweeting:

"My little Harley girl giving me kisses goodbye before the Met gala."

Juli's Cavalier King Charles spaniels go just about everywhere else with their triple threat mama. Tuesday Hough tweeted: "Back to Miami we go." with a pic of pups Hilary and Lexi waiting to jet set.
