Bella Swannabes Fake Engagements To Try On Wedding Dress

bella-swan-alfred-angelon-replica-wedding-gown-2__opt1.jpg

Obsessed Twilight fans are going to great lengths to look like Bella Swan on her wedding day — even if it's only for a few minutes.

The employees at Alfred Angelo bridal salons say Twi-hards have been flocking to the various locations and lying about their engagements just so they can try on the $799 replica wedding gown.

The employees add the Bella Swannabes are driving them nuts and make it difficult to conduct business with real brides.

Come on, Twi-hards! We know you love the movie, but don't waste these hardworking people's time!

Twilight Security Is TIGHT! No Scripts Allowed Off Breaking Dawn Set!

twilight security is tight

Who memorizes lines, anyway?

Summit Entertainment's security on the Breaking Dawn set is SO tight that they aren't even allowing anybody to leave for the day with scripts.

Sources say that before starting the film, auditioning actors weren't even allowed to read from the Breaking Dawn script, but rather read scenes from the first three Twilight scripts.

K-Stew and R-Patz aren't even getting preferential treatment. They've gotta memorize those lines on set like everyone else!

While we could understand their desire to keep things under wraps, would it be THAT big a deal if the script leaked? Didn't everybody already read the book?

We're pretty sure the majority of Twi-hards know what happens.

What do U think? Is Summit's security excessive? Or do U think they're correct to be paranoid?

Twilight Culture Hits Road Signs

Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueTwilight

twilight-road-signe.jpg

Twilight culture has invaded nearly every market, including books, DVDs, blu-rays, t-shirts, posters, board games, jewelery, magnets, chocolate, breath mints, books, toys, sweet hearts, trading cards…

…And now Twilight has made it’s way onto the roads in the form of…

ROAD. SAFETY. SIGNS.

Portland, Oregon now has signs on their roads, created in the Twilight style, which read “You are not immortal. Buckle up.”

At first instinct we’d be inclined to say that this is kind of amazing, but actually this might cause more bad than good.

Anybody who isn’t a Twilight fan may not care too much, but Twi-hards may get fixated on the glorious signs, completely forgetting to watch the road in front of them.

Before these Twilight-inspired signs start to pop up all over the country, let’s give this some thought. Seems like these might be a major distraction to Twilight enthusiasts.

Do U think Twilight Road Signs will be helpful or harmful to drivers?

Twilight Author Is Sick Of Vampires

ap1ew300624137426.jpg

Stephenie Meyer, the Twilight author who introduced us to sparkly vampires, is now saying she's tired of the undead creatures.

In 2008, she stopped working on the fifth novel in the series, Midnight Sun, after her unfinished manuscript had been leaked online. Unfortunately for Twi-hards and lonely moms they have been waiting with bated breath for her to finish the companion novel.

But it doesn't look so good for fans as the author is now saying she's "burned out on vampires" and she most likely won't finish the novel anytime in the near future.

She says:

"I know that's what everyone cares about. I also know that the right answer would be for me to say 'Oh yah, it's done! And it'll be out next month!' But that's not true. It's also not true that I've got a ton of work done on it, and that's what I'm working on. What's true is that I'm really burned out on vampires. And, I don't want to write it badly. So I want to wait until I'm excited about the material again, and I'm excited about Edward, and that it's something that's motivating. You know, when a story is keeping me up at night, and I'm waking up at 4 am in the morning and thinking 'Yes! That is what should happen in this moment!' Then that is when I can write with happiness! So, right now it feels like homework … it really does. And when things feel like homework they go very, very slowly for me. That should disappoint everyone!"

Sorry, Twi-hards!
