Those of us who saw The Social Network know that the Winklevoss twins sued Mark Zuckerberg for turning their failed ConnectU project into Facebook.
THEN last week, we learned that the twins Winklevii were being sued by Wayne Chang, who was also involved with ConnectU. Chang claims that he was elbowed out of the $65 million settlement between the Winklevoss twins and Facebook.
And how are the Winklevoss twins addressing this issue? By attempting to re-ignite their lawsuit with Facebook, of course!
Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss want to bring their Facebook lawsuit to the Supreme Court, in an effort to get the settlement invalidated.
They're claiming that Zuckerberg "defrauded" them in the settlement because they were paid in Facebook stock, which they claim is valued at "less than half what they were led to believe."
Here's a statement released by Cameron and Tyler's attorney:
"The Court’s decision [to] shut the courthouse door to a solid claim that Facebook obtained this settlement by committing securities fraud. Our Petition to the Supreme Court will ask the high court to decide whether that door should be reopened."
Let it go, Winklevii! Instead of trying to get more money out of Facebook, why don't you focus on making things right with Wayne Chang…the guy YOU TWO screwed over? Remember him???
Do U think the Winklevoss Twins deserve more money from Facebook? Do U think Wayne Chang deserves money from the Winklevosses?
