This is terribly sad!

In the Cumberland County region in Kentucky, a five-year-old boy accidentally shot and killed his two-year-old sister with a .22-caliber rifle.

The two-year-old was rushed to the hospital, and was then pronounced dead.

The rifle had been a Christmas gift for the boy to apparently use outside in the forest.

A 23-year-old mother who glued her daughter's hands to the wall before proceeding to beat the 2-year-old so savagely that the little one fell into a coma has been sentenced by a Dallas judge to spend 99 years in prison.

Elizabeth Escalona had faced a sentence from either probation to life in prison - the prosecutors in the case had sought 45 years behind bars. The judge thought that wasn't enough, and rightly so.

Elizabeth Escalona has pleaded guilty to beating her daughter, and also gluing the little girl's hands to a wall. The mom was apparently mad at her daughter for having potty training problems.

The two-year-old girl was in a coma for two days after the incident. Her and her siblings are now in state custody.

The toddler's siblings told investigators their mother kicked the girl in the stomach repeatedly. She also hit her with random objects before gluing her hands to the wall.

Here's what she said:

"Only God can judge me. That's all I gotta say."

We actually preferred if you didn't say anything, like, ever again.

Escalona faces life in prison which would seriously not be long enough after what she did to her little girl.

This adorable 2-year-old was taking a nice peaceful nap in the backseat of the car when all of a sudden, the sound of Waka Flocka Flame playing on the radio woke him up!

Earlier this week, we were appalled when we heard about a baby who was served margarita mix instead of APPLE JUICE at an Applebee's restaurant.

Now, it's happening again.

Check out the video (above) of a two-year old who was served alcohol at a restaurant, but this time it was an Olive Garden…and he was served sangria instead of orange juice.

What's going on here? Are these disgruntled employees who want to hurt their employers? Or have restaurants been hiring tragically absent-minded people lately?

Whatever the reason is, please keep the booze away from the kids! We REALLY hope we don't hear about a story like this again!
