Jewel is all about the animals and she hopes life on the ranch will teach her son, Kase, a few life lessons!

The folk singer and hubby Ty Murray own a 2,400 acre farm, filled with 200 cows, 10 horses, five dogs, 2 donkeys, and a partridge in a pear tree!

Jewel and her rodeo star hubby Ty Murray have recently welcomed a baby boy!

Both the singer and the cowboy are overjoyed with Kase Townes. So, of course, to protect their little baby bundle the couple have set up some ground rule for the 3-months-old.

Well, actually just one rule: No Riding Bulls!

After speaking with her just a week ago, we knew it was going to happen any day now!

Jewel popped Monday evening, welcoming a baby into the world.

Weighing it a healthy 7 lbs., 6 oz., she and bull rider hubby Ty Murray named their new little one Kase Townes.

What a good, sturdy name!

Even though she gave birth less than 24 hours ago, Jewel has already spoken about the new addition to her life, saying:

"Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby boy into the world. We are overcome with happiness – it really is as great as everyone told us it would be – better even!"

We can only imagine! So happy for you three! Can't wait to meet the little guy!

Yay! Time to start decorating! (And getting presents!!!)

Jewel and her cowboy hubby Ty Murray have announced that they are expecting a boy! Jewel told sources that the couple "would have been happy either way," but they are both very excited they'll be welcoming the little guy to the family this summer. Perhaps Ty just a tad bit more! He raved to sources:

"I have to admit, I was doing a little dance on our way out of the doctor's 
office when we found out!"

Aw! Cute! You guys will make such good parents!

Congratulations, Jewel!!!!

Here's what the expecting singer had to say about her pregnancy:

"I took a pregnancy test and it was positive! It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I'd start throwing up on set and everyone would be like, 'Oh, she's pregnant.'

I'm trying to be in the moment and really enjoy my pregnancy. I feel really lucky."

Here's what Jewel's hubby Ty Murray had to say about it:

"We're so excited to be expecting our first baby. We always knew we wanted to have a child, and this time in our lives feels right."

We're not sure how you were able to hide this for so long, but we're excited for you two!
