In a move that's somewhat misguided (but totally in a "it's the thought that counts" kind of way), Wendy's has started a new donation program.
This program has the restaurant giving you FOUR free small Frostys for just a dollar donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

We hope not, but the Harvard School of Public Health keeps scaring the crap out of us with all of the recent research being released.

Paula Deen is trying pretty hard to recover from the backlash she received after revealing she has been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for three years, but continued to endorse diabetes-causing food.
It is pretty obvious that the only reason she revealed her illness is to make more money considering she waited to strike an endorsement deal with a diabetes drugmaker Novo Nordisk before coming out.
Now she's trying to do some good and has announced that she plans on donating "a certain percentage" of what the company is paying her to the American Diabetes Association.
