Carrie Fisher Had 'Just Bought A Place' In London Before Her Tragic Passing

This is just heartbreaking to hear.

Carrie Fisher had just made a pretty big long-term decision before her untimely passing on Tuesday. In the days leading up to her death, the 60-year-old had been in London filming Season 3 of Amazon's Catastrophe.

And the Star Wars icon had apparently intended to spend much more time across the pond as a source told Entertainment Tonight that she had purchased a pad in the UK not long before she died.

The insider explained the late legend "had just bought a place in London" and was "looking forward" to enjoying "more time there."

The acclaimed actress was actually on a flight returning from England's capital last week when she suffered a serious heart attack while onboard.

She was rushed to UCLA Medical Center, where she died from cardiac arrest. Sources say she never improved after the initial incident.

Mark Hamill is struggling to cope with the tragic loss of Carrie Fisher.

On Tuesday, the Star Wars icon passed away from cardiac arrest at UCLA Medical Center. The 60-year-old's devastating death comes just days after she suffered a massive heart attack on a United Airlines flight.

And while Mark had previously shared his sadness on Twitter, he has now issued a lengthy statement mourning the loss of his on-screen love.

He remembered his Star Wars costar, saying:

"It's never easy to lose such a vital, irreplaceable member of the family, but this is downright heartbreaking. Carrie was one-of-a-kind who belonged to us all—whether she liked it or not. She was OUR Princess, damn it, & the actress who played her blurred into one gorgeous, fiercely independent & ferociously funny, take-charge woman who took our collective breath away."

Poor Carrie Fisher.

As we previously reported, the Star Wars icon suffered a serious heart attack on Friday in the middle of a flight. And now, we're learning a little bit more about those terrifying moments onboard that plane.

A source told Entertainment Tonight the 60-year-old "started throwing up and saying she couldn't breathe" as her United Airlines flight was preparing to land at LAX.

The insider explained the unresponsive actress was rushed to the hospital, where doctors were monitoring her heart. Her brother, Todd, has since revealed the California native had been taken to the Intensive Care Unit, and her current condition is unknown.

ET also confirmed Carrie's sister Joely has backed out of her Friday night performance as Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty at Laguna Beach's Laguna Playhouse in light of the scary situation.

Carrie Fisher's family is keeping everyone updated amid the actress' scary situation.

After suffering a major heart attack, the Star Wars alum's brother, Todd, has revealed the 60-year-old is now in the ICU. The 58-year-old opened up about his sister's latest development to Entertainment Tonight.
