We've just learned that the State Bar of Florida has started up an investigation of Casey Anthony's lawyer Jose Baez for "possible ethical violations," such as "hiding information from the court."

The investigation stems from Casey's check fraud conviction in 2010. She was given one year's probation, and was told by the judge that time she spent in jail before her murder trial would NOT count towards her probation time.

Why wouldn't D.C. police devote their time to escorting Charlie Sheen to his show? It's not like their job is protecting everybody in our nation's capital or anything like that…

D.C. police are currently under investigation for using their resources to escort Sheen to his Torpedo of Truth show on Tuesday.

Here's what Charlie tweeted about it at the time:

"In car with Police escort in front and rear! driving like someone's about to deliver a baby! Cop car lights #Spinning!"

And here's more from Sheen about his D.C. police escort:

"I just landed, we had a police escort and we ran more red lights than Brooke Mueller heading to a pawn shop."

And here's what a spokesperson for the D.C. police had to say about it:

"This escort was handled as a reimbursable detail. This means that the government was reimbursed for the services provided."

Another police spokesperson, Gwendolyn Crump, has said that "the matter is 'under investigation.' "

Do U think escorting Charlie Sheen to his show is a valid usage of police resources? Or did somebody mess up here?
