Sofia Vergara went against the grain last night at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

While other celebs chose to wear formal gowns, the seksi Modern Family actress opted for a black David Meister cocktail dress and Christian Louboutin pumps.

We think it's a cute dress and looks amazing on Sofia's bod, but it's WAY too casual for the occasion.

Earlier this week Jessica Simpson rolled into the La Dolce Vita screening after-party dressed like a country bumpkin.

Her attire for the Gucci-sponsored soiree included clogs, jean shorts, a t-shirt and no makeup.

clASSy.

Photogs tried to capture Jessica's ensemble, but a friend told them "No pictures! She has no makeup on."

Funny, that wasn't a problem the other day.
