What’s a TV pilot without a casting switch-up?!

Actor Ryan Phillippe has been REPLACED in the new CBS drama, Golden Boy, by British actor Theo James.

The Downton Abbey star will take the lead role of police commissioner after Ryan, who left on good terms, was concerned about taking up a network show full time.

Theo underwent a long audition process before finally nabbing the role and can also be seen in the film Underworld: Awakening!

NEITHER are bad to look at, so we're not complaining!!!
