Happy Birthday, Jake Gyllenhaal: Part Two

jakey g birthday celebration

Looks like we've got some more deets on how Jakey G celebrated that 31st birthday of his!

On Monday, we heard that Jake spent his pre-bday weekend running errands around El Lay, and making a stop at a Beverly Hills medical building (although we're thinking everything's probably all right!)

Now, we've learned that Jake spent his bday morning attending a SoulCycle spin class in NYC's Union Square! Fun!

Then, he met up with sis Maggie Gyllenhaal, Love and Other Drugs co-star Oliver Platt, and some other friends for dinner at Peter Luger in Brooklyn, which is a DELICIOUS steakhouse!

Following dinner, we're hearing that Jake's mother Naomi Foner brought a cake to the restaurant! Yum!

Sounds like a great time to us, Jakey! We hope U enjoyed URself!

Andy Warhol Returns To Union Square!

Right where he belongs!

A statue of the late, great artist Andy Warhol has been put up in Union Square, just outside the building that housed his famous studio. The 10-foot high chrome monument will stay on display until October and mingle amongst other great men in history like Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, and George Washington (they have statues in that neighborhood too!)

Epic Harry Potter Prank!

harry potter inspired prank played on mta nyc transit

Check out the photo (above) to see the most epic Harry Potter-inspired prank in history! In fact, it may be one of the best pranks in history IN GENERAL!

An absolute genius Somebody placed a circle that reads "9 3/4" on the 14th St. Union Square subway sign in NYC.

For those of you not in the know, you should be ashamed of yourself that's the number for the platform where students board the train to Hogwarts.

It looks REALLY spot on! Could the MTA have been involved? Warner Bros? Both of them?

Here's what MTA spokesperson Kevin Ortiz had to say about it:

"We are not part of any sort of Potter campaign, but I've seen things like that before."

If the guilty party comes forward, they'll be subject to a $75 fine and it will be worth every penny!

What do U think of this epic Harry Potter prank?
