Bradley Cooper had reportedly signed up for the title role in director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo's remake of The Crow, but apparently now, he has dropped the project due to a prior scheduling conflict, and will now instead appear in David O. Russell's Silver Linings Playbook and the upcoming adaptation of Paradise Lost!

Guess one just wasn't enough!
After many complained that the theatrical trailer released for the updated version of Footloose followed too closely to the plot of the original, a second version has been released, featuring more scenes with new leads Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough!

Remember when we said that after a variety of production snags, Johnny Depp's big screen version of The Lone Ranger was in the works?
We take it back.
Disney has reportedly pulled the plug on the flick, and although there's no official reason, sources close to production claim that director Gore Verbinski and the studio bigwigs could not agree on a budget! Combine that with the lackluster success of Cowboys & Aliens, and the movie was basically screwed!
Too bad! We would have loved to see our boy get down and dirty in the old west!
Oh well! At least we still have Dark Shadows to look forward to!

God save us all, someone actually let this happen and now it's official.
Charlie Sheen has officially signed on to a new television series, a comedy sitcom based off of the Adam Sandler/Jack Nicholson movie Anger Management.
The show is to be produced by Lionsgate Television, and alongside producer Joe Roth, the actor will be retaining "a significant owenership stake" in it.

Wow - we had misgivings about this being developed, but we're not going to lie…it looks pretty effing scary!
Check out the just-released trailer for The Thing, which will reportedly be a prequel to the classic 1982 horror flick, and will focus on the Norwegian crew that discovers the shape-shifting alien in the Antarctic ice three days before the events of the first one (above)!
Since we pretty much know their fate at the start of the original, we'll be very curious to see how this new one plays out!
Here's hoping it can John Carpenter justice! We're cautiously optimistic that it will!
