And just like that, we get another season of Dallas!
The TNT drama is set to return for a fifteen episode third season next year, despite the slight decrease in ratings and recent passing of the show’s actor Larry Hagman.
TNT, TBS, and TCM President and Head of Programming Michael Wright said:
NBC is getting a headstart on its television pickup announcements! They must be just as anxious as we are!
The network, that’s been struggling this past season with less than ideal ratings, is renewing five of its current dramas, and we couldn’t be happier with their choices! Brace yourselves, folks. Parenthood, Grimm, Chicago Fire, Revolution, and Law and Order: SVU are all coming back for the 2013-2014 season!!
What’s more? They all got a 22-episode order!
NBC hasn’t yet released any information on the status of their comedies Parks and Recreation and Community. However, a network rep said to keep an ear out for more announcements within the next couple of weeks.
MTV didn’t just announce the return of Scream — this time on the small screen — at their Upfronts presentation yesterday!
It seems they have a lot more in store for us, including a third season of Snooki & JWoww! How else would we have gotten our Jersey Shore fix?! The show will return with more of the Snooki and JWoww’s adventures!
Its second season was the network’s top original series in its time bracket and demographic — of course they’d want to renew it!
And though it's been rumored that the girls' former Jersey Shore costar The Situation could be getting his own reality spinoff, we can't help but wonder: is MTV involved?!
This would definitely make it tough to show up to work day after day!
It seems that 90210 star, Shenae Grimes, had been having quite some trouble with her character, Annie Wilson this season!
After four years of Annie being the good girl next door we had grown to know, this season took a different spin that was undoubtedly out of character…when she became an ESCORT!!
While a majority of the new series picked up to NBC are comedies, the network also has a few very cool-looking dramas in the works, including one involving some very SEKSI firefighters as they cope with the loss of one of their teammates!
Ch-ch-check out the promo for Chicago Fire (above)!
YES! This looks like Backdraft, the TV show!
And that is a VERY good thing, as far as we're concerned!
Can't wait to see if it has much to offer behind the already-very present man-candy!
