Tennis balls! Duh!
In honor of Anna Wintour's favorite sport and the U.S. Open, Vogue commissioned 11 designers, including Diane von Furstenberg, Monique Lhuillier, Eddie Borgo, Tory Burch and even Maria Sharapova to pimp out their balls.
So fancy!
Check out all the balls in their sparkly, spiked and kissed glory (below)!

Yay! We're happy to see Michael Douglas is doing better than ever since his cancer went into remission last winter.
While attending the a Michael Kors fashion show during NYC's Fashion Week, he told reporters he was "feeling great!"
He must be if he's being so active. On top of attending the Contagion New York premiere, he was also spotted a few days later with his wife, Catherine Zeta Jones, at the U.S. Open!
"That was unbelievable," he commented on the men's semi-final match-up between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic he witnessed.
Good health is good news! We hope it continues for Michael, who has already been through so much.

Stay positive, Anderson!
Despite landing some big name guests and covering some major stories, Anderson Cooper's new daytime talk show did NOT have a stellar debut.
Anderson averaged 1.1/3 in households, and he struggled with fighting against coverage of the U.S. Open men's tennis championship in markets such as New York and Boston.
Cooper's new talk show landed

Aww! We love this couple and hope they NEVER break up!
Beyonce and Jay-Z spectated the men's championship match between Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal at the U.S. Open on Monday.
Smiles never left their faces during the 4 hour match and they seemed to be genuinely enjoying each others company as they watched Djokovic claim his first U.S. Open title.

In the final women's match of the U.S. Open, Serena Williams may have been playing Samantha Stosur for the championship, but that didn't stop her from facing off against the umpire too!
After a point was called out that Serena believed to be fair, she turned her attention toward the official and reportedly shouted:
"You have it in for me? I promise you, that's not cool. That's totally not cool. I truly despise you."
She didn't stop there. During the change over, Serena sat down for a drink of water and continued to berate the umpire sitting above her. She even goes as far as to call the official "unattractive inside."
Check yourself before you wreck yourself, gurl! Ha!
The rest of you can just check out the video above!

It was almost a repeat from Wimbledon in July, as Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal went head to head in the U.S. Open with Djokovic coming out on top.
The only difference?
The match lasted MORE than 4 hours! INtense!!
The Serbian triumphed in an epic lasting four hours and 10 minutes, defying his tiring body after Nadal fought magnificently to take the match to a fourth set.
The 6-2 6-4 6-7 (3-7) 6-1 scoreline did not reflect the intensity and closeness of the match in New York, the climax of the tennis season's fourth and final major tournament.
Djokovic needed treatment on his back before winning the opening game of the fourth set, then took a full medical timeout before breaking Nadal's serve.
AND he needed back treatment during the game?? So impressive to come back from that!
We're so glad we got to see it!!
Congrats, Novak!!

Bradley Cooper applauded Queen Latifah's performance before the U.S. Open Women's Final between Serena Williams and Samantha Stosur on Sunday.
They weren't the only notable celebs in the audience either. Funny man Will Ferrell looked surprisingly serious throughout the match, while sharing the stands with Vanessa Williams, Star Jones, and Dennis Leary.
If they were rooting for America, than they must have been a little disappointed when Serena lost 6-2, 6-3 to her Australian opponent.
It's always a tremendous achievement to make it all the way to the final match regardless, so congratulations to both Serena and Samantha!
Check out more pics of all the celebs at the match below!
