Anna Wintour Thought Hamish Bowles Had The X Factor

Anna Wintour knows a thing or two about cruel and unusual punishment, just ask Vogue's editor-at-large Hamish Bowles.

A few months ago, Anna took it upon herself to sign him up for the X Factor and let him know via email.

Hamish writes in the October issue:

RiRi WILL Be A Guest Judge On X Factor!

Guess Rihanna changed her mind!!

Earlier this year, we told you that RiRi was too busy to appear on X Factor, but looks like her schedule just opened up because she WILL be appearing on the show as a guest judge.

Seems like X Factor judge L.A. Reid, who signed Rihanna back in 2005, pulled some strings to get her on the show. Good work.

We have a feeling this will be HUGE for X Factor's ratings. We can tell that the show is already giving American Idol a run for its money….

Scherzy Talks X Factor Style

Pussycat Doll turned X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger is spilling the beans on what she'll be wearing on the show.

Nicole's designers of choice will be camilla and marc and Hervé Léger, adding:

"I want to wear dresses that make me feel like a woman, but I add a rock edge to it as well. That’s my style and I’m an artist before I am a judge."

Scherzy also says she and fellow judge Paula Abdul will learn what color the other is wearing before filming so they compliment each other.

X Factor USA Preview Gets An Air Date!

Despite all the drama and casting musical chairs, US >X Factor is still happening. And producers and studio execs are going all out to promote the latest Simon Cowell project.

Even though there hasn't been an "official" announcement by FOX, there has been some on-air promotion teasing the preview, which says it will air just before the MLB All-Star Game on July 12 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Auditions haven't even finished yet, howevs, the X Factor crew just wrapped up filming audition hopefuls in Seattle so there should be plenty of footage to create an exciting preview.

And what better way to get viewers interested then airing the teaser before the biggest baseball game of the year?

We're definitely intrigued to see if this version can even hold a candle to the UK one. Guess we'll have to wait to find out.

Will U be tuning in?

Cheryl Cole Invited To Come Back To U.S. X Factor!

Filed under: Simon CowellCherylBusiness BlitzX Factor

Oh the DRAMZ!!!

Less than 2 weeks after being fired from U.S. X Factor, Cheryl Cole has been invited BACK to the show and sources say it's all because of money.

Sources say that Simon Cowell personally intervened with top Fox execs and persuaded them to invite the singer to come back on the judges' panel.

When Cheryl was dropped from the U.S. show, producers of the UK version attempted to get her back, however when they found out her managers were asking for £2.5 million, they nixed the deal.

She was expected to get paid much less than that for the U.S. show, $1.5 million (£1.2million), whether or not she was even on the show.

Because the execs decided that it was worth it to keep her and pay rather than just give her the money without working on the show, they've invited Cheryl to come back.

So far, Cheryl hasn't made a decision to accept their offer. In fact, we haven't heard from her much since all this X Factor drama has gone down. Meanwhile, a source says that "Simon is staying out of this now. He has offered an olive branch but he is leaving the decisions up to Fox and Freemantle, the production company."

Poor Cheryl! We don't blame you for wanting to look at all your choices before you make a decision. It seems that neither show is treating you too well right now. Although, if we have any say in it, we still would love to see your American debut. Think about it!

Cheryl Could Possibly Be "Guest Judge" On U.S. X Factor

Ouch. Even though she will still be connected with the show, this will be a major downgrade for her.

Cheryl Cole's role on the U.S. version of X Factor could very well be referred to as a "guest judge." And her short time on the show as a judge in the early auditions process will be shown on the beginning episodes of the season.

Executive producer Richard Holloway says:

"Yes, of course Cheryl will be on the American show, she did auditions in two cities and we will reflect that. We did the same with Brian Friedman on the UK show."

Meanwhile an insider says:

"If Cheryl is made to look like a guest judge or an experiment that went wrong it would have big implications for her career and could kill her American dream. Being dumped from the show has been bad enough, I can’t imagine she will be looking forward to reliving the auditions on screen."

Agreed. This is such a major blow to Chezza. We feel for her. We really do. We're sure she'll soooo happy when all this X Factor dramz blows ovah!
