Guess we should have seen this coming when they announced that they'd be releasing 60+ Timeline apps…

Facebook has announced that over the next few weeks, they'll be automatically switching users' profiles to the new Timeline format if they don't do it on their own.

For those who aren't too familiar with Timeline, it makes UR entire Facebook history much more accessible…so if perchance you went through a hardcore Pokemon-quote-posting phase back in college, everyone will know about it sooner than later!

Oprah, can you just accept our friend request already??

The Queen of Media wants to connect with you on Facebook! She'll be sitting down and chatting live with fans, answering all your burning questions on Sept. 8.

The streaming interview will coincide with Oprah's meet-up with industry bigwigs like Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and Twitter CEO Dick Costolo where she'll be discussing ways to boost traffic to her website, Oprah.com.

Even though her site gets an average 2.4 million visitors per month, she gets about 6.3 million fans coming to her Facebook! This will be Oprah's way to connect those Facebook fans to her website content.

What's the matter, Mark? You don't like irony of being the most popular person on Facebook's competition?

After joining Google+ Project, Mark Zuckerberg quickly gained massive popularity with over 100,000 followers!

Guess he felt that he was getting TOO popular, because he decided to hide his friend list.

Come on, Mark, show us that friend list again! Facebook has 750 million members now, right? Who cares if people see that there are now hundreds of thousands of users on Google+!

Looks like you're gonna have your work cut out for you, Google+ Project…

Last month, nearly 6 million people in the U.S. deleted their Facebook accounts, and there was SOME question as to whether or not the social networking site could be on its way out.

Now, it appears that Facebook is actually doing quite well, because they released some numbers yesterday, and they've passed 750 million members worldwide. Wowsa!

Here's what Mark Zuckerberg had to say about it during a press conference on Wednesday:

Wow.

Yesterday during 2-3 p.m. est, when the Casey Anthony verdict was announced, over 1 million users visited CNN.com/live to witness the results of the trial. This is 30 times higher than the previous 4 week average for that time period! Wow again.

During the same period of time, CNN.com had approximately 12 million page views, which is 4 times higher than the previous 4 week average. Wow a third time.

Guess this is what happens when the verdict for a major trial is announced in the afternoon on a work day.
