Although the Oscars ceremony is coming up this month, there are more pressing issues at stake.

That's why one of Hollywood's biggest agencies — United Talent Agency — will forgo its annual Oscars party and will make a generous $250,000 donation to the American Civil Liberties Union, which has taken legal action against Donald Trump's Muslim ban, and the International Rescue Committee.

Additionally, two days before the Academy Awards, UTA will hold a pro-immigration rally at its Los Angeles office to bring awareness to America's diversity.

Donald Faison About To Get Scrubbed? Sued For Screwing Agents Out Of Commission!

donald faison sued for not paying commission

Naughty, naughty boy!

Everyone in Hollywood knows you gotta pay your people!

But it seems Donald Faison might’ve thought he could get around that leeeettle technicality.

After United Talent Agency scored him a $75,000 per episode deal with Scrubs, they were supposed to receive 10% for each payment he received.

But noooow, UTA is suing Donald as they claim he stopped payments to the agency after the third episode of the ninth and final season!

Oh shizz! Hollywood don't like that kind of business, boy!

But that’s not the only payment he's accused of stiffing his agents on…yup, there's mooore!

He supposedly

Wesley Snipes Compares Talent Agency-Client Relationship To That Of A Pimp And Ho

Wesley Snipes UTA pimp and ho

In the greatest explanation of the relationship between a talent agent and an actor EVER, Wesley Snipes described it as "no different than a pimp" and "a ho".

Before reaching a settlement with UTA over a 2008 dispute regarding unpaid commissions, the actor explained the deal in place between himself and agency as he understood it. According to his simile, he was in fact a ho, while the major talent agency was a pimp.

During a deposition with lawyer Bryan Freedman, Snipes had this say about "the usual talent agency-client relationship":

Angelina Jolie Signs With New Talent Agency To Find Deeper Roles

Angelina Jolie Serious Actress

Silence! Angelina Jolie wants to focus on her craft!

Gone are the days where we'll hear her voice animals and play temptresses in studio tentpoles.

Angie wants to find "smaller, more character-based roles" to play in now, so she's signed with Ilene Feldman at IFA (who also represents Ryan Gosling).

She had been with

Paula And Some More X Factor Dramz

Paula UTA Dramz

Paula Abdul is refusing to pay her agents on the X Factor deal!

She's basing the claim that she doesn't have to pay the standard 10% because the deal was brought upon her past working relationship and friendship with Simon Cowell.

While that may be somewhat true, it turns out that both her manager and attorney stepped in to help negotiate the payment when things got down to the wire. That to us shows that UTA didn't really have much of anything to do with any of the process!

Plus, Paula presented UTA with a "take it or leave it" type of deal when it became apparent that Cowell was targeting her without any outside help besides their relationship. They would either forego commission, or not rep her anymore.

She means business!

Neither the agency or Paula's reps returned a comment either, so this is all we have to go on for now!

We suppose it all falls down to what kind of deal she signed with UTA and the specifics of that. From where we're standing, it looks like she might have some weight behind her argument — unless her deal with UTA covers a situation like this.

Do U think she should pay??
