A video from a couple of Utah hikers has set the Bigfoot craze ablaze once again!

A man calling himself Beard Card (sketch) recorded the video with a friend where they saw a hairy monster stand up and look straight at them.

And they claim that it was definitely NOT a bear!

The Hogle Zoo's newest babe can prove that!

A female reticulated giraffe calf made her debut at the Utah zoo on Tuesday and mom and daughter are getting along great.

Just wait until those teen years! LOLz!

This is the zoo's 16th successful birth since it started displaying giraffes in 1969.

Clap clap, KUCW, clap clap indeed!!

Even though people with internet access will probably just view Ryan Murphy's latest creation, The New Normal, online at their own convenience regardless of any ban, those living in Utah who still watch traditional television will also be able to experience the family sitcom!

The show was banned from air last week by Salt Lake City based NBC affiliate KSL-TV — which is owned by Bonneville International, a division of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints — but Ogden-licensed station KUCW has picked up the comedy to air at 10pm before Saturday Night Live (which is also banned by KSL-TV).

Huzzah!!

Controversy? Conflict?

But these only garner MORE publicity for new creative entities so… thanks KSL-TV!!

Yesterday, we learned that Salt Lake City NBC affiliate KSL-TV decided NOT to broadcast Ryan Murphy's newest television creation The New Normal this fall, based on the grounds that it's:

"inappropriate on several dimensions, especially during family viewing time."

Sadface!

Some of the sitcom's radiating stars recently shared their thoughts on the program's potentially irksome, 'taboo' topics (homosexuality, the reformatting of the traditional family unit, etc.), and it seems they are majorly in favor of encouraging discourse and liberating tightly clamped minds!!

Thankfully, this tiny, Utah-based ink-spot on the starched, white shirt that is The New Normal will probably only help the show, rather than hurt it, so kudos to you!

We're not sure what to think about this one!

A fan claims he saw Derek Hough "shimmying with his buddies" at a Salt Lake City gay club in "skintight, shiny silver pants" recently and said the Dancing with the Stars regular was reportedly not cool with the prospect of being photographed.

According to The National Enquirer, a fan approached Derek and at the club and the dancer freaked out about having his picture taken.

The fan confesses:

"I'm a big fan of Derek's, and I always thought or HOPED he was gay… I went up to Derek and said, 'excuse me' and asked very nicely if I could have a photo taken with him… He couldn't have been more rude or a bigger diva!"

That's shocking to hear! Derek has always come across as a pretty nice guy!

The fan continued:

"I was like, OK, he’s clearly not comfortable about hav­ing his picture taken in a gay bar. If you’re not gay, then what's the problem? Derek's behavior was very suspect."

Suspect? That's a bit of a stretch.

We can fathom a few thousand reasons why ANYONE might frequent a gay bar, regardless of their sexual orientation.

Maybe the pro dancer just wanted to, uhh, dance? The source added:

"Derek very well may not be gay. But he sure was dressed pretty, and he threw an impressive hissy fit when I asked for a photo!"

And we can dream up just as many reasons why someone might not want to be photographed — like you've never had a bad hair day!

We don't know whether he's dating co-star Katherine Jenkins but plenty of straight folk enjoy gay clubs. Derek says he's straight and we have no reason not to take the man at his word.

We aren't sure why he didn't want to be photographed but the DWTS vet doesn't owe us an explanation.

His private life is just that — private.

Even in Utah, shimmying isn't a crime.

Utah state officials have revealed the man behind the costume behind the Goat Man, a urban legend that swept through the state for a couple seconds.

A unidentified hunter called the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and explained his goaty disguise.
