Yep, we said LOSES weight during the holidays!
Forget the fact that she lost 40 pounds and kept it off — we're more floored by the idea that she knows how to shed weight during the holiday season. WHAT OF THE COOKIES?
"You know what, I lose weight, not gain it, during the holidays. You have more days off, so you have more time to go to the gym and be active. I have so much more time to work out this time of year. I'm spending hours running around cooking in the kitchen, and by the time it comes around to getting to eat, I don't even want to eat that turkey anymore, I'm sick of it. So keeping fit for me is easy this time of year."
Absurd! Cooking is half the fun, and the other half is eating it!
But yeah, we do understand the first part — but people would rather spend all that extra time in the gym with their families instead… and families tend to love to eat together.
She then goes on about her diet philosophy, which we feel she hits dead on:
"My dieting philosophy is, you never have to give up anything completely.If there's something you really like, you'll always be pining for it. Then, if it's put in front of you, you'll go crazy for it."
Moderation is key!!
