It's an exciting day for Van Halen fans!
Check out the newly released music video (above) for Tattoo, which is the first single off of Van Halen's upcoming album!
We're far from blown away by this song, but it's cool to see the band reunited with David Lee Roth.
Good luck, guys!

It has BEGUN!
Last month, Van Halen announced plans to go on tour for the first time in five years AND they released a rehearsal video showing the world that they've still got it! (above)
Now, we've learned that David Lee Roth and co. will perform a small concert at Cafe Wha? in Manhattan THIS THURSDAY!
Should be interesting to see how the show goes after soooo many years MIA!
What do U think? Can Van Halen still rock???

You heard right: Rock legend Van Halen will be on the road for the first time in five years!
The band hit the social media waves to announce a tour for 2012. While no dates or locations have been confirmed yet, tickets will be on sale on January 10th, so we should all know soon.
Along with the announcement, the band also released a rehearsal video and it is FULL of fun and dancing! Frontman David Lee Roth showed he hasn't forgotten his moves from the 80s and gyrated all around the video.
Check out the video above and rock out to Van Halen!
Oh, and remember: The band also has an album due out within the year. It will be its first album with Roth since 1994. So now, you have double the reason to feel PUMPED!

You know, people shouldn't make promises they can't keep!
Last night, it was rumored that Van Halen would be making a triumphant return to the stage for the Grammy Nominations concert in LA. The performance would mark the first time the reunited band would be performing on TV and many fans were super excited to see Eddie Van Halen with original lead singer David Lee Roth tear it up once again!
However, the concert went up … and no Van Halen. So what gives?
Seems some wires got crossed and as the Recording Academy President Neil Portnow reveals, the guys just weren't ready. In his statement, he explains:

Rihanna, Usher, and The Band Perry have been added to the performance lineup for the Grammys….
Pregame show.
Already packed with stars, the three acts will join Lady Gaga, Ludacris, Lupe Fiasco, Sugarland and Jason Aldean during the nomination ceremony on November 30, 2011, hosted by LL Cool J.
The award show isn't until February but it should pack plenty of surprises.
There are even rumors Van Halen may resurface and reunite at the Grammys after a teaser plays during the pre-award show.
Do U think a pre-award show three months away is worth it?

That, dear friends, is what we are hearing.
According to reports, after 35 years at Warner Bros., Van Halen has left WB for Sony. An insider reveals that Columbia A&R executive Stephen Ferrera has been dubbed the task of overseeing the next Van Halen album, which will hopefully come out sometime in 2012 and in fact be the first album featuring David Lee Roth since 1984.
Another insider at the label points out that "nothing has been signed yet, but Columbia has been in the lead for some time.”
While we're stoked about the fellas making another album, we can't help but wonder what the WB did to them to make them want to leave after three and half decades together. It seems kind of odd, right?
