All tag results for vanity
Denise Richards may not have been the most appropriate role model for young girls when she first began her Hollywood career, but the actress is working hard to make sure she's a role model for her daughters now!
In an article she posted on iVillage, Denise admits to feeling hypocritical when trying to teach her daughters to develop a healthy body image, considering she got breast implants at just 19. The 40-year-old, however, feels more confident in her own skin than she did in her 20s and wants her children to discover that confidence sooner, rather than later, explaining:
A PETA protest in Melbourne caused the Fashion Week down under to ditch fur all together!
During one of the week's fashion shows, protestors stormed the catwalk chanting "fur is dead" while parading anti-fur flyers (watch above).
They did this for about five minutes while confused models and bewildered attendees watched.
Some agreed with them, some yelled at them, but love it or hate it, they accomplished their goal.
Due to the concern for the models' safety, Melbourne decided to pull the rest of the week's fur pieces.

Snap-on teeth are starting to catch on worldwide, and we’re not sure why. We suppose it’s similar to wearing a wig or fake eye lashes, but in some ways completely different. First of all, we assume it’d be difficult to talk with them in. The manufacturers say that you can eat with them, but we can’t image that it would be comfortable to do so.
For a special occasion, like a wedding, these seem great. Otherwise, we recommend sticking to your own chompers!
