Who runs the world? GIRLS!

Lena Dunham just beat out literally every influential female player in comedy at the Golden Globes in the Best Actress in a TV Comedy category!

Like, seriously… Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tina Fey, Zooey Deschanel and Amy Poehler all just got beat!

But you know what? We think they're cool with it. After all, Tina got to chill with Jenny from the Block … and we think Amy is going home with George Clooney!

Get it girl!

But seriously, kudos to Lena! What a night for you, with the second season premiering tonight AND a big win!!!

Maybe next time though, you practice walking in your shoes? Heel-toe, honey! HEEL, TOE!

Julia Louis-Dreyfus wore an award-worthy dress at the Emmys on Sunday in El Lay!

Before picking up the award for Best Comedy Actress, the Veep actress looked walked the red carpet in a beautiful custom Vera Wang merlot silk tulle and charmeuse mermaid gown with classic corset detailing and sheer ruched overlay accents.

Julia's turquoise jewelry was very bohemian, but still went very well with the dress color.

The look was overall classy, but not particularly memorable.

Vada Sultenfuss is all grown up and boy is she gorgeous!

Anna Chlumsky shrouded herself in lace tonight at the Emmys.

The Veep starlet donned a custom gown created by the oh so talented Christian Siriano.

We love Anna's choice of accessories, which included a Judith Leiber clutch and Neil Lanejewels, but what's up with her Stuart Weitzman shoes!?

Classic example of how the wrong shoes can bring down an entire look.

Oh well, we'll still give her an 'A' for effort.

Following Stephen Colbert's somewhat complimentary presentation of the award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series, Seinfeld alum Julia Louis-Dreyfus took the stage to accept it and almost pulled a Halle Berry in the process!

Although she managed to hold back her tears, she was a total nervous mess (above) and even forgot her acceptance speech at her seat. Luckily, fellow nominee Amy Poehler totally had her back and ran up to the stage with it!

Such a sweet tag team!

The Veep star paid the Parks and Recreation star back at the end of her speech though.

It's always cute to see nominees who are earnestly excited to be honored for their work, but we're a little surprised she wasn't more composed considering it was her THIRD career Emmy!

We're happy she's just as excited to win her third as she was to win her first! Congrats, gurl!

Next week on Veep our fave pretend lady VP (sorry Sarah) is losing control of her disrespectful staff, and her ability to talk to strangers! LOL!

This show gets better with every episode. No wonder HBO picked it up after only 2 episodes!

That was quick!

The ladies of HBO have scored themselves another year's salary!

The fancy cable network has renewed their new dramedy Girls and politikal comedy Veep for a second season each.

Both are SUPER early in their first season, but both shows are pulling in a little under 4 million viewers. That's INCREDIBLE for a channel you have to pay for, so it make sense.

Fingers crossed the girls keep up those ratings!

The reviews are in for HBO's newest comedy Girls Veep!

The show starring Elaine Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Sarah Palin a female Vice President, pulled 1.4 million viewers for it's first showing of the premiere Sunday.

That's not amazeballz, but it's better than the debut of network's other new chick comedy, Girls.

And what's more, the critics all seem to think the same thing: Julia is the shizzz!!
