Juicing Is A Good Habit To Pick Up!

white blue

Juicing fruits and vegetables is a fantastic, simple and delicious way to get daily required amount of fruits and vegetables. Don’t have a juicer, then try blending. Toss in anything you’d like including vegetables you don’t normally eat. There are endless combinations, so try blending carrots, kale or spinach, an apple and ice. You will get a ton of vitamins and minerals that you wouldn’t get by attempting to eat them raw.

Eat Your Fruits And Veggies — OR ELSE!!

white 1

You should be aiming for 10 servings of fruits and vegetables daily. Most of us don’t unfortunately. A multi-vitamin can help, but slowly increase your vegetable intake if you want a strong and healthy body. 1 serving = 1 cup of raw vegetables, 1 medium sized fruit or ½ cup of chopped fruits or vegetables.

Taco Bell Pulls Ad Because It's Offensive To Vegetarians??

First off, what self-respecting vegetarian is going to Taco Bell?? Ha!

Secondly, are there THAT MANY of them that Taco Bell wants to pull an ad for being not offensive at all?

The new ad (above) has a voice-over laying into people who bring veggies to Super Bowl sports(?) parties — aka Game Day — because it's lazy, not because they're veggies. Vegetarians are pissed because they think it's anti-veggie!

Lisa D Tip Pic

Everyone knows they should be eating vegetables! But sometimes veggies just seem so… boring.

How to make vegetables more exciting to eat:

1. Buy the frozen steam bags of veggies, they cook in the microwave in 5 minutes

2. Drizzle olive oil and garlic salt over steamed broccoli

3. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over steamed veggies

4. Order pizza with light cheese, extra sauce and veggie toppings

5. Buy a low calorie ranch dip and snack on veggies and dip

6. Place steamed veggies in a bowl, add a slice of low fat cheese, melt in microwave

7. Buy precut veggies at the market and keep in the fridge ready to eat

Remember you will not gain weight from eating too many vegetables!
