You GUYZZ!! It just keeps getting better!

Veronica Mars showrunner Rob Thomas just shared some seriously EXCITING news!! Jason Dohring — the swoon-worthy Logan Echolls — will officially be joining the cast of the tv-show-turned-movie!!

Rob took to the VMars Kickstarter page and revealed that there are many more “favorites” to come:

“Don't worry. We're busily working on bringing your favorites into the fold. As a Veronica Mars backer, you'll be the first to know.”

Eeek!

Kristen Bell’s babydaddy Dax Shepard will also be making a cameo! Let’s hope Max Greenfield plans on heading back to Neptune, too!!

MARSHMALLOWS! This Veronica Mars Kickstarter campaign is FAR from over!

Yes, you may have raised and surpassed showrunner Rob Thomas’ $2 million goal AND astounded the world Warner Bros. studio executives with your carazay fundraising skills, but there’s just one more thing the VMars team is asking of you: to join in on their “not-so-secret ambition” and break the record of most backers in Kickstarter drive history!

Currently having raised $4.4 million with close to 65,000 backers, the VMars Kickstarter is about 22,000 away from defeating Double Fine Adventure’s 87,142 total. SO CLOSE!

Rob took directly to the campaign page and added an official $1 donor level so that people can pledge the tiniest amount, receive exclusive content regarding the project, and be apart of the Kickstarter fun for next to nothing! He also promised that “there’ll be a backers-only treat tomorrow!”

Given the monster that this campaign has been, we have no doubt it'll reach this new goal! Don't U think?!

Dear President Obama,

We think we've found a solution to the nation's debt crisis.

If we combine the forces of Veronica Mars' fans with the power held by Directioners, the United States of America could toootally jump out of the red by 2015.

Even if the 1D boys aren't from the land of the free, and even if a lot of the Directioners are across the pond, we're sure they'd all rally together for their family in the States! LOLz!

The Veronica Mars movie kickstarter campaign has officially passed the $3 million mark and is now a bonafide phenomenon.

But, wait a second! What does this mean for other shows that ended too soon? Or just tv shows that we desperately want to see on the big screen??

While Marshmallows continue to shell out more of their hard-earned buck$ on VM, we think there are several other shows that also deserve a second (third and fourth, etc) chance too!!!

No end in sight!

The Veronica Mars Kickstarter campaign, initiated by the show’s creator Rob Thomas, surpassed everyone’s expectations of success, including Rob’s. The Kristen Bell-fronted show's extremely loyal fan base has been waiting for the opportunity to return to Neptune, CA for far too long and have had no problem showing it, raising over $3.6 million for the film project.

Rob explains that VMars was “built by fans, so we’ll try to do our best to keep the momentum going through that.” Fans should expect to experience a very open filming process with several behind-the-scenes tweets and photos.

Better yet, the showrunner will be putting some documentary footage together for Comic-Con, sharing:

Zachary Levi took to his Twitter on Wednesday to congratulate VMars' Kristen Bell and creator Rob Thomas on reaching (AND surpassing) their Kickstarter goal:

Having hit just over $3.3 million today, the Veronica Mars monster Kickstarter fund is the gift that keeps on giving. In fact, VMars creator Rob Thomas, who we may now call a Santa Clause of sorts, revealed that he'll be rewarding fans for donating with some NEW prizes!

The next ten people who pledge over $750 will receive two tickets to the NYC red carpet Veronica Mars premiere as well as a signed movie poster, the full DVD set, a digital version of the film, a t-shirt, and a pdf of the shooting script.

Some lucky few will even have the chance of starring as extras in the film!
