The rest of Earth just isn’t as fashion forward as

Kanye West got his, but not too many people can say their jacket is Maison Martin Margiela for H&M.

Why? Because no one's buying it or to whole collection for that matter.

Like Lanvin and Versace before it, the fast fashion retailer thought they had another smash-hit on their hand by collaborating with Margiela, only to discover nobody was picking up what they were putting on the racks.

The 43 piece "cruise" collection launches online January 19th, but only in Sweden, the UK, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Norway.

Sad.

If Donatella Versace saw a "real" woman modeling her H&M clothes she'd tell her to "GET OOUUUUTTTTT!". Seriously.

The New York Daily News wanted to do a photo shoot of real women wearing clothes from the highly anticipated collection, but the fashion retailer quickly rejected the idea.

The News published the deets in the paper on Tuesday:

"The H&M publicist initially explained by email that the “Model New Yorkers” photo feature could probably not go forward because Versace had to approve “anyone who wears the collection for press” — and, she added, “Donatella will likely not approve shooting the collection on real women.”

She was right. When the Daily News writer organizing the shoot sent the publicist photos of two of the three women he wanted to use — all recent college graduates who work in the city — the answer came back that only one was acceptable.

When the News writer asked for an explanation, he was told the woman who was rejected “doesn’t fit [Versace’s] branding."

Sounds to us like Donatella's been laying under the sun lamp too long because the last time we checked H&M sells clothes to women of all sizes.

Same-store sales for the month of October have dropped a measly 2% after a 7% dip in September according to H&M.

The fast fashion chain blames the fear of recession in Europe, which is their largest market.

We have a feeling things are going to be just fine after the Versace collection launch on Saturday.

Selma Blair joined the star-studded crowd at the launch party for the soon to be released Versace for H&M collection on Tuesday

The new mom walked the black carpet in a pink studded shift dress that wasn't particularly flattering on her.
