Taylor Swift to perform with Alison Strauss at CMAs

Pulling in some big names, we see!

Looks like Taylor Swift, queen of awards shows, will be performing a special version of her song Red with some HUGE country music names!

Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, bassist Edgar Meyer, Sam Bush, and percussionist Eric Darken will join the country cutie on stage during the Country Music Awards on November 6!

Sounds like it's gonna be a real good country-filled time! We can't wait!!

In addition to TSwift's performance, Jason Mraz will also be performing with Hunter Hayes and the Foo Fighters will be playing alongside Zac Brown Band!

Sounds like a cool fusion of country meets contemporary! So cool!!

We wonder when Swifty will start performing Sweeter Than Fiction on the awards circuit! Hopefully soon!

Maybe we'll see her perform it at the Oscars! Ya know, when she wins her Oscar along with Meryl Streep for her role in The Giver!?!

LOLz!!! Ya never know!

Kelly Clarkson Is A Mixture Of Everything At The CMA Awards

Oh boy, what in the world is going on here??

Kelly Clarkson looked great from the neck up with her fabulous golden blonde locks and perfect makeup. But, girlfriend was confusing us with the sofa-pattern upholstered dress she wore at the 2012 CMA Awards last night.

She performed Don't Rush with country star Vince Gill and, luckily, her vocals sounded great because otherwise, we'd be completely distracted with the custom, Faberge egg-inspired Cesar Arellanes dress she's working with.

Her figure looks great though so props to you, Kells! Next time, we want something a little less distracting though!

rita-wilson-to-release-debut-album-am-fm

We didn't even know that she was a singer!

But this sounds like such a cool concept!

Rita Wilson is apparently taking a break from acting to release her debut solo album, which will be called AM/FM, and featuring classic songs from the '60s - the AM part - and the '70s - the FM part - and guest vocalists like Chris Cornell, Sheryl Crow, Faith Hill and Vince Gill!

The PSU Scandal Inspires Vince Gill To Open Up About His Encounter With Sex Abuse Situations As A Kid

Filed under: Icky Icky PooSad Sad

Vince Gill Molestation

This is so sad, but we're glad he's opening up about it.

Vince Gill is opening up about his experiences with molestation as a kid because of the recent Penn State University scandal. Like PSU, it involved fitness and sports — but this time it was at the hands of a disgusting gym teacher.

He was just 12 when his P.E. teacher made a pass at him.

Now, as a father, he feels an added sense of panic at the realization of how often this goes on unnoticed. Here's his story and what he had to say:

"It (scandal) conjured up something that happened in my past when I was… a 12-year-old kid starting seventh grade. There was unfortunately a gym teacher at our school that wound up being the same kind of thing (sic)… and there were some advances made towards me that were very awkward. Nothing happened (but when) it started to get weird, I had either the good fortune or the good luck to jump and run. I jumped up and ran. But I was so young I didn't know what to do, I didn't know much about sexuality, didn't know anything about all that stuff.

"I grew up in the '60s. We didn't know about therapy, we didn't know about inappropriateness, we didn't know any of that stuff. We just figured it out in the sandlot, fought it out on the playground, or whatever the hell you did. And I turned out fine; I don't need therapy, I'm not nuts… It could have been a lot worse… But there's just no telling how often this goes on and nobody knows. There are a lot of people unfortunately preying on kids and it doesn't get any sicker than that… I have a 10-year-old kid now, so it's all of a sudden red flag, red flag, red flag, red flag. I just want to go to her and say, 'Please! Tell me anything that makes you feel awkward or weird that anybody says or does.'"

That's really good advice, Vince.

Parents: Make sure that you're talking with your kids. Make sure there is a comfortable line of open communication with them, and let them know that it's okay for them to tell you anything — especially if something like this is going on, or believed to be going on.

We're glad it wasn't extreme, Vince, and we're glad you were able to get past it and become as successful as you are!

Unfortunately that's not always the case, and we need to stop this shizz from happening. Seriously.
