Raven-Symoné Thinks The Spring Valley High School Assault Victim Shouldn't Have Broken The Rules — And Says 'There's Two Wrongs' Here!
Wait, what did she say?!
Earlier this week, a video surfaced online of a resource officer, Ben Fields, violently arresting a student at Spring Valley High School in South Carolina after the girl ignored her teacher.
Just Wednesday morning it was reported that Fields has been fired for the incident in which he used maneuvers that were "not acceptable" and federal investigators are now involved.
But something you may have missed was Raven-Symoné's controversial stance on Monday's After The View!
The former child actor agreed that there was no reason for the officer to use that kind of force — but tried to express the student was ALSO wrong in that she shouldn't have been using her cell phone!
Co-host Paula Faris even somewhat sided with Raven. Thankfully Michelle Collins served as a voice of reason who reminded that the brutality should be the focus, and whatever rules the student broke is no excuse for it!
Ch-ch-check out Raven's absurd argument (above)!
