What good is a healthy body without strong bones? It's no good, that's what! If you'd like to eat more food that will strengthen your bones, Margaux J. Rathbun has some ideas:

Sticks and stones will break my bones….you know how the rest of it goes! Keep your bones healthy and strong by eating a diet full of authentically healthy foods. Bok choy and broccoli are good sources of calcium, a nutrient needed to keep our bones, teeth, and joints healthy. Avocados are a good source of vitamin K, a vitamin that is important in proper blood and bone function. The vitamin C in spinach helps keep our skin and mucous membranes healthy. Do you like organic tofu? Tofu is a good source of manganese, copper, and phosphorus, all of which are important minerals in promoting bone health.
