While we know her intentions were good, this may not be the right way for Alicia Silverstone to ask for tofu.
The actress has sent a letter to Russian president Vladimir Putin, asking that Pussy Riot's Maria Alekhina, a vegan, has access to a vegan diet.
The letter wants Putin to "assure" her about Alekhina's diet, and states the following:
I'm sure you can agree that everyone has the right to show compassion and refrain from hurting animals by being vegan.
Madonna supports the cause, Alicia supports their diet…
Same thing, right?

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin played with a Bulgarian Shepherd dog, after being gifted the pup by Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov in Sofia, Bulgaria!
Putin's love for puppies was recently in the news when he told George W. Bush that his dog was "bigger, stronger, faster," than Bush's Scottish terrier. LOL!
Aww, Putin is not known for being a cuddly guy, but just look at how this pooch brought out the Prime Minister's softer side!!
