Guess who isn't "off limits" from VMA jokes after all!

If you read the headline you probably know it's…. Kristen Stewart!

A couple weeks ago we were told that VMA host Kevin Hart was instructed to "refrain from mentioning" her cheating on Robert Pattinson.

But it appears Kevin has thrown his instructions away! The comic put the ugly rumor to rest at a press conference Tuesday, when he told reporters:

According to a well-placed source, Kanye West has canceled his VMA appearance since girlfriend Kim Kardashian can't attend.

The source explains:

"Kim's in New York for her fragrance launch [at Fashion's Night Out] and Kanye didn't want to go to the VMAs if she couldn't be there."

Wowww…. we're honestly a lil' shocked!

Yeezy's Mercy video is up for two MTV awards tonight: Best Hip-Hop Video and Best Editing.

But if he wins, guess Pusha T and the gang will have to accept on his behalf.

Awww… we were really looking forward to seeing him there!!

MTV does not want to risk losing any viewers to Barack Obama and has decided to start the Video Music Awards an hour earlier on September 6th, the same day as the Democratic National Convention.

The show was originally scheduled to run from 9-11pm, but since the democratic nominee traditionally delivers an acceptance speech at 10pm, the network decided to bump the show up an hour so it runs 8-10pm instead.

At least MTV's younger viewers can get an extra hour of sleep before waking up for school the next day. Parents rejoice!
