PHEW!

Nine days ago, Florence Welch devastated us with the announcement that she had "sustained a vocal injury" after hearing something snap, and would be forced to cancel gigs at the Benicassim festival and Portugal's Optimus Alive so she could give those chords a break!

And despite an appearance on Good Morning America a few days back, many fans were worried that she would be unable to kick off her North American tour on time, given the amount of strain that one must put on their voice to carry an entire concert!

Well, we are glad to report that NOTHING keeps our gurl Flo down, and she and her Machine took the stage in Vancouver, BC over the weekend…and ROCKED IT out of the park!

Why did Ozzy Osbourne cancel Black Sabbath’s Mannheim, Germany concert on Wednesday just minutes before the band was meant to take the stage?

Paul Stanley, the front man for Kiss, has undergone vocal cord surgery and we hope he's doing okay!

That'd be one huge voice to lose for the music industry!

The procedure WAS successful for recurring vocal cord issues. Nothing really out of the ordinary, and in fact he said it was normal issues that "come with 40 years of preaching rock 'n' roll."

Sometimes people want a little feedback on the lovin' they're givin', so is it too much to ask for a bit of talk while gettin' busy??

A Fitperezcious Reader is wondering the same thing… and we've got Dr. Karen Stewart for the advice!

Here's the question:

Im trying to get my boyfriend to speak to me in the bedroom but I am having no success. I am saying words like “Baby”, “Oh Yes” and he wont say a word. What can I do to solve this?

And here's Dr. Karen's advice:

Talking dirty in the bedroom can be very intimidating for certain people. After all, if you think of some of the things that you may have said and/or heard it can be pretty embarrassing if the other person is not into it! First question; does he like hearing you talk dirty in the bedroom? This question is pretty important because if he is not comfortable hearing it he is really not going to be comfortable saying it!

I like your idea of modeling what you would like him to say, but I would take it a step further. You could describe to him when you like something he is doing, ask him to touch you or do a certain thing to you, or compliment something he is trying. It may take him some time to feel comfortable talking like this in the bedroom but hopefully you can help him along so you both can have a new experience in the bedroom!
