It's funny how life works sometimes.

Moments ago, America's most awful person did another dumb thing, and it had us feeling down and sad and a bit overwhelmed.

And now, moments later, we're uplifted again by the common good and decency of kind, appreciative people!

Keith Urban Singing In February For First Time Since Vocal Surgery

Keith Urban surgery

We're sure some country fans will be excited to hear this news.

Following vocal cord surgery late last year, Keith Urban is scheduled to return to stage on February 3rd at the Grand Ole Opry.

The Nashville, Tennessee concert will be Keith's first time singing since last November because he's been on vocal rest after a successful surgery removed a polyp from his vocal cord.

Glad to hear you're all healed up, Keith. Good luck at the show!

John Mayer On Vocal Rest After Throat Surgery

John Mayer

Musical heartthrob John Mayer underwent surgery last Thursday to treat his throat condition, known as Granuloma.

He had tried alternatives to treat the inflamed nodule near his vocal cord in an effort to avoid an operation, but had no luck, explaining:

"It’s been a very long process in waiting to see if time was an alternative to surgery, but even given two weeks’ voice rest (along with many other approaches), there was no change for the better."

He is now recovering after the successful surgery and is on "complete vocal rest for a month or more." Unfortunately for fans, this means a delay for his upcoming album Born and Raised.

While he's resting his voice, the singer says he's "taking off". More specifically, he plans on "going to travel the country, look, and listen."

We hope this month goes by quick because we can't wait to hear John's new material!
