John Galliano may not be attending the Met Gala tonight, but he's got the punk theme DOWN!

The designer and Parsons professor hung out with Vogue's Grace Coddington in Manhattan on Sunday, looking as cray as you'd expect in a cable-knit sweater vest, plaid and camouflage shorts, and knit knee socks worn with sandals.

And despite her poufy, flame-red hair, Grace managed to fade into the background in her slouchy black slacks and double-breasted coat.

Although, who wouldn't when standing next to John???

We're definitely sad that the former Dior designer won't be at the Met Ball tonight, since so many of his cutting-edge designs are going to be on display, but apparently that would mean taking one too many steps.

His publicist Liz Rosenberg put it thusly:

"One step at a time, and that’s one huge mother f - - kin’ staircase.”

Well, we're sure John and his peeps know what's best for him!

Melancholy, haunting, and STUNNING!

Carey Mulligan gives excellent three-quarter profile on the May cover of Russia's Interview magazine.

She looks more like Daisy Buchanan here than she did on her Vogue cover!

Maybe because this photo really captures Daisy's fragility, whereas the Vogue one was more focused on flapper fashions.

Obvi, we haven't seen The Great Gatsby yet, but if this shot is anything to go by, we'd say Carey really nails her character.

Victoria Beckham has already proven herself as a serious designer, and her designs have not only been embraced by celebs, but by major magazine editors as well.

But there's still the one metaphorical mountain peak she hasn't reached — landing the cover of the ultimate fashion bible, US Vogue!

Actually, that's not true. Victoria has been on the cover of Vogue back in 1998 with her fellow Spice Girls, but does that REALLY count?

The singer committed to the azure theme without going overboard at the Smurfs 2 photocall in Cancun on Monday.

Looking elegant and classy in a blue lace Monique Lhuillier A-line frock, KatyKat injected some fun into the ensem with two-toned cateye sunnies, silver Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, and a blue floral headband.

She's been looking SO good all week!

Katy Perry: Vogue cover star!

It has a nice ring to it, right? Of course it does! And Anna Wintour obviously agrees because rumor has it KatyKat's going to appear on the cover of the mag for the very first time!

This is LONG overdue! Katy's a FEROSH fashion GODDESS and she should've graced the front of the fashion bible a long time ago.

Leonardo DiCaprio lets it all hang out on the May cover of Esquire magazine.

Looking dapper in his suit and polka-dot tie, Leo captures the tortured elegance of Jay Gatsby perfectly.

And those fine lines on his face really make him seem dignified, don't they?

Between this cover and Carey Mulligan's Vogue spread, we are more excited for Baz Lurhmann's The Great Gatsby than ever!

Plus, maybe Leo will finally get that elusive Oscar with this one!

It's finally time for The Great Gatsby media blitz!

The film is kicking off what will surely be a heavy month of promoting with Carey Mulligan gracing the May issue of Vogue.

Instead of wearing one of the many Prada costumes from the film, Miz Daisy Buchanan poses for Mario Testino's camera in a putrid green color Oscar de la Renta gown and dripping in Tiffany & Co. jewels.

Really? Out of all the gowns used in the shoot they chose this from the cover? Ick!

Luckily the rest of the spread is easier on the eyes (and stomach), with Carey modeling looks from Miu Miu, Chanel Haute Couture, Nina Ricci, Alexander McQueen and Dior Haute Couture.

Carey also reveals to the mag where she was the minute she got her big role: presenting at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in NYC with Karl Lagerfeld! The moment she got off stage, she was handed the phone and director Baz Luhrmann was on the line saying, "Hullo Daisy…"

How magical!!!
