We LOVED what he had to say…but we suppose we can understand how this could cause dramz with the rest of the Simpsons cast.
A bit earlier today, Simpsons voice actor Harry Shearer released a lengthy statement, in which he said he'd be willing to take a 70% pay cut for Fox to keep The Simpsons on the air. In return, Harry said he'd like a small amount of profit participation in the show.

This is awful!
The Simpsons CAN and SHOULD go on, but the series' new financial position calls for a 45% pay-cut in talent salaries — dropping from 440,000 to 250,000 per episode.
While the producers have already accepted their pay-cuts, the voice actors are chaining themselves to a tree.
