Alec Baldwin's daughter Ireland has chosen to enter the entertainment business.

Which means she's got to have some thick skin.

Which Ireland obviously does.

But she's also sensitive–and we mean that in a good way!

The aspiring model wrote a long letter on her Tumblr for all the haters out there who still like to bring up the infamous voicemail incident that her father left her mother quite a long time ago.

Alec Baldwin may have called his daughter a "rude, little pig," but that's OK.

Alec's daughter Ireland Baldwin thinks the media blew that infamous voicemail way out of proportion. In fact, she says the angry screaming wasn't an unusual occurrence for the 30 Rock star. She says:

Here's a life lesson for the world… Don't mess with Chevy Chase!!

When Dan Harmon, the creator of Community, unleashed the show star's nasty voicemail, that was the last straw!

Apparently Sony execs hadn't been gelling with Dan anyways, but this was just too much. Chevy was humiliated, and publicity or not, the show's behind-the-scenes was then viewed as a chaotic mess!

So when it came time to renew his showrunner contract, Sony was like… eh!

We're so glad that the court awarded her the restraining order she's been seeking because of her super creepy stalker — 61-year-old Lee Silber.

Ouellet claims Silber has been harassing her constantly — leaving more than 50 delusional voicemails on her cell phone and sending her increasingly scary letters, promising to track her down in L.A. and "take me to heaven with him."

Now that's downright horrifying.

The good news is that the restraining order is for 300 feet away for the next 3 years. Hopefully that'll be enough distance and time for him to snap out of it.
