With the X Factor’s premiere less than a week away, it seems like Simon Cowell’s star studded panel almost fell through early on!

Remember back in May when Britney Spears walked off the XF set on the first day of auditions?!

While at the time, it was claimed that Brit Brit was just “taking a break,” we are now finding out what REALLY went down that day!

In a recent interview, Simon confessed:

Just yesterday, we heard all about Britney's latest get-up-and-go during a Greensboro X Factor audition. Our beautiful princess just couldn't stomach it anymore after a hopeful botched You Drive Me Crazy.

After the bedazzled man gave his, um… intriguing tribute, the three judges just got up and left… leaving Simon Cowell alone to tell the man she didn't quite understand his gesture.
