He deserves some good news!

Since he has been bravely battling throat cancer this year, Michael Douglas was open to some goodness in his life - and he got it!

He was nominated for a Golden Globe as Best Supporting Actor for his role in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.

"To be selected with these extraordinary nominees is an honor and boy was I ready for some good news!" said the actor.

But Douglas will have some fierce competition! He is up against Christian Bale in The Fighter, Andrew Garfield in The Social Network, Jeremy Renner in The Town and Geoffrey Rush in The King's Speech.

Lots of luck to all the nominees!

Michael Douglas' Ex Still Wants His Wall Street $$$!!!

michael-douglas-ex-still-after-his-money.jpg

Relentless! How can she be so greedy while his health is so poor?

Not too long ago, a judge in New York dismissed Diandra Douglas' bid to sue her ex-husband, Michael Douglas for a cut of his earnings in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.

You'd think that would've been enough to detour the woman from pushing this any farther, but you'd be wrong! Sources are reporting that Diandra is bringing the fight out West and is on the hunt for a good lawyer to start this whole mess up again.

Poor Michael! We're glad it's Catherine Zeta Jones at his bedside right now and not this woman! If he were still married to her, he'd have NO money left!

Another Couple Bites The Dust!

shia labeouf and carey mulligan break up

These breakups are becoming like an epidemic! Whatever happens, don't get sucked into this trend, Brangelina!

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps co-stars Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan are the newest couple to call it quits, according to new reports.

Not only is Mulligan breaking up with Shia, but she's dumping the entire United States!

Here's Carey on her move back home:

"I'm moving back to England. I am spending some more time here at the moment. Just spending time with my family, really."

We're not looking to place blame, Shia, but what exactly happened to spur this intercontinental move by Carey? Needless to say, we're curious.

What do U think about this breakup? Will U miss Mullabeouf? Or would it have been LaBulligan?

Facebook Movie Social Network Is #1!

web-the-social-network__opt.jpg

The movie about Facebook, Social Network, topped the box office this weekend, making roughly $23 million at the domestic box office.

That's pretty good for a movie without any A-list actors, however the film itself has been getting rave reviews. The movie stars Jesse Eisenberg, serious actor Justin Timberlake, and a name you'll be very familiar with in the coming months, newly-casted Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield. The movie was written by Aaron Sorkin and David Fincher.

The animated owl movie, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole came in second with $10.9 million.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps took the third place spot with $10.9 million. The film was expected to come into second place.

Both Ben Affleck's The Town and Emma Stone's Easy A remained strong, coming in fourth and fifth places.

LeBeouf Vs. Muniz!

fmshia.jpg

Back in 1998, when Frankie Muniz and Shia LeBeouf were both 12-years-old, they had a falling out - and Muniz was on top of his game!

It seems Shia hasn't moved past that. While the movie star was promoting Wall Street 2 on The Bert Show this week, Shia was asked about the fact that the last of his six movies have opening in first place.

"While that's flattering as hell, you could have put Frankie Muniz into any the movies I've been in and those movies would have still been number one," he responded.

The radio host wondered what he would say to Frankie if he approached him at a party.

"I don't go to many parties and I don't really hang out in Frank Muniz-type zones," LaBeouf replied. Then, he continued to refer to Muniz as "the king" and "the chief."

Wow! And, of course, Frankie got wind of it! He took to his Twitter to address the Shia.

Muniz Tweeted:

"Dear Shia Labeouf. It's getting creepy the fact that you can't stop talking about me. It's been 12 years now. I don't know you. Thanks."

Touche.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps Kicks Ass At The Box Office

wall_street_money_never_sle.jpg

It's another hit for Shia LaBeouf!

The sequel to 1987's Wall Street was the number one movie this weekend, bringing in $19.9 million.

Co-starring Michael Douglas, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps gave director Oliver Stone his best box office opening yet. Pretty impressive for a 23-year-old sequel.

The weird, creepy movie about owls with the super long title, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, came in number two with $16.3 million.

Ben Affleck's The Town was still going strong in its third week, coming in at number three with $16 million, while Easy A and You Again rounded out the top five.
