Better than money! Even better than IOUs!

Trying to get the Dumb And Dumber sequel into production has had more wrong turns than Lloyd and Harry trying to return a briefcase to Mary Samsonite Swanson.

But it’s FINALLY happening!!!

In just one week, Warner Bros. dropped the project, as we reported, and Universal Pictures picked it up like a hitchhiker waiting for the shaggin’ wagon to drive by.

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, after a lot of quitsies and anti-quitsies, had FINALLY agreed to reprise their Dumb And Dumber roles as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, and we reported the Farrelly Brothers' script for the follow up to their original movie was almost finished.

Now Warner Bros. has scrapped it from their slate. Maybe they’re still trying to forget the 2003 prequel Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd. We certainly are!!! LOLz!

But things may be looking up in the Farrellys’ search for another distributor and financier. They shared on Twitter not long after Warner Bros.' announcement:

The successful Broadway musical, Jersey Boys, may in fact be making its way to the big screen. Better yet, it could in fact be led by Clint Eastwood at the helm!

The actor-turned-successful-director has yet to confirm his ties to the project, though we have NO doubt that the musical retelling of the rise of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons would be in good hands if left with him as director.

Jon Favreau was formerly linked to the potential film, but things changed when producer Graham King took Jersey Boys to Warner Bros. We’re not the only ones sensing some dramz here, right??

According to sources, Jersey Boys would be followed by Clint’s remake of A Star Is Born.

We really hope this is true!!

Hollywood is moving to the UK!!

WB just gave the Leavesden studios (where all nine-thousand eight Harry Potter movies were shot) a $155.6 MILLION make-over!

They say the 200-acre site is now a state-of-the-art facility that could rival any major El Lay studio. Warner Bros. plans on making the joint their new home-base for across the pond productions.

WB announced the opening of their new baby studio in a press release, saying:

Warner Bros. has fallen madly in love with Bradley Cooper and who could blame them!

The studio has signed a two year first look deal with BCoops' new production company, 22 & Indiana Pictures.

BCoops has made Warner Bros a lot of cash with The Hangover flicks and third one is on the way. The new production company will be housed on Warner Bros' lot in Burbank and the name marks his father's address and childhood home.

Warner Bros. chief Jeff Robinov gushes over the actor with the following statement:

Before he was a legend, he was in the process of becoming a legend!

Warner Bros. wants another piece of Will Smith and I Am Legend and have inked deals with producer Akiva Goldsman and Smith's production company, Overbrook Entertainment.

So how would they use Will when [SPOILER ALERT] he doesn't fare too well at the end of the flick?

By making it a prequel!

I Am Legend grossed $585 million in theaters alone so its obvis why Warner Bros. wants some more.
