While fans are currently preparing themselves for that nightmare, let's not forget the absolutely hellish IT remake. Did you see the latest trailer?? We didn't shit our pants, you did!!

Soiled bottoms aside, we thought it would be a good idea to check out the most infamous clowns of all time…

Ben Affleck Reportedly Done Playing Batman!

no title

Batfleck, we hardly knew ye!

Warner Bros. is finally on the right track to roll out a successful DC movie universe that rivals Marvel — but it looks like the Justice League might already be starting to disassemble.

The studio is reportedly planning for a future of Batman movies without Ben Affleck, and is working to "gracefully" usher the movie star out of the franchise altogether!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, WB is moving forward with plans to make a new Batman trilogy from director Matt Reeves, which the studio claims it still wants Affleck to star in.

But their inside source says the studio is secretly working on plans to get rid of Affleck's Batman within an upcoming DC movie, either having him retire or, more likely, killed off for the sake of continuity in the overall DC story arc.

In the comics, other characters have taken up the cape at times, including former sidekick Dick Grayson; could this be related to rumors WB is in talks with Armie Hammer, who was cast as Batman back in 2009 in George Miller's ill-fated Justice League movie? Are they preparing him to take over?? Hmm…

THR cites Affleck's age as a major reason for the potential change. He's currently 45 years old and would be approaching 50 around the time The Batman — which has still yet to be written, btw — comes out in 2019 (or later).

No matter what happens, be prepared for a major shake-up in the DC movie universe!

This Country Is Seeking To Ban Wonder Woman — And The Reason Is Worse Than You Think!

no title

Wonder Woman could get banned in Lebanon, and no, this isn't some man-baby bullshit trying to stifle women's empowerment.

Sadly, it's just old-fashioned antisemitism.

A group called Campaign to Boycott Supporters of Israel-Lebanon is campaigning to get the film banned because star Gal Gadot was born in Israel and is a supporter and former soldier in the Israeli army.

Other movies have been censored in Lebanon for having ties to Israel recently, but support for this ban is NOT unanimous, with many critics pointing out Wonder Woman is a more universal story that actually long predates the conflict.

Of course, this wouldn't be the first movie to be banned by a country for an odd reason — not even the first DC superhero movie…

Chris Pratt Has A Good Idea Why Suicide Squad Sucked

no title

DC Comics still can't quite get its superhero movies right in the golden age of Marvel, and Chris Pratt has a few theories as to why that may be.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star admitted he was a fan of "all the Warner Bros. movies" at io9's Guardians junket last week, mostly because he doesn't get his hopes up too high!

While he's "not a real tough critic" when it comes to the rival studio's superhero flicks, he did have one critique for Suicide Squad: the squad was way too big!

Speaking to the audience, the 37-year-old said:

The IT Remake's New Pennywise Is Just The Latest Scary Clown We Have To Worry About…

Horror remakes tend to stir up a fraction of the original film's fright.

That being said, Warner Brothers' IT remake looks straight up TERRIFYING!!!!

The latest adaptation of Stephen King's horror classic dropped its first trailer on Wednesday, featuring a sinister, sewer-dwelling Pennywise the Clown terrorizing a group of children we do not envy.

Maybe it's the current clown-fearing climate we live in, but this monstrous Pennywise looks like he'd eat Tim Curry's comical version for breakfast.

Of course, the OG is still one of the most terrifying clowns in horror history. See what other scary clowns the new Pennywise will have to live up to…

Ben Affleck Wants To Quit Playing Batman Already?! See What Insiders Are Saying!

By now, Ben Affleck knows a stinker when he smells one.

We sensed some trouble brewing in Gotham City last month when the multi-hyphenate stepped down from directing the upcoming solo Batman movie — supposedly so he could focus all his energy on playing the superhero.

But now it looks like Warner Bros. might need some saving, as new rumors are claiming Ben doesn't even want to be Batman anymore!

Video: Ben Wanted Casey Affleck To Thank Him In Golden Globes Speech

Before the Argo filmmaker bowed out of directing the Batman v Superman followup, he was making some distressing claims in interviews — saying there wasn't a script yet and that the project wasn't even a "sure thing"!

And according to insiders, the 44-year-old's apathetic responses are due to the fact that he wants to get out of playing the Caped Crusader altogether.

In the latest episode of YouTube's Collider Movie Talk, host John Campea explained he had spoken to three separate sources connected to the hot mess at WB, who all said Batfleck wants to hang up his cape for good.

Prefacing that listeners should take the news "with a massive, massive grain of salt," he dished:
