The next big superhero flick is finally here with Warner Bros. Suicide Squad and it's already being met with extreme criticism and now it might not make it to China!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a Chinese exec close to the China Film Group said those involved in the decision process think the super villain team-up is "not a good film to release in China".

The film is likely to be banned based on the rule that "propagating passive or negative outlook on life, worldview and value system" is forbidden.

But Suicide Squad isn't the only movie to get banned for a ridiculous reason — Shrek 2 and Back to the Future were both banned in other countries too! In fact…

Suicide Squad Fans Petition To Shut Down Rotten Tomatoes For Posting Bad Reviews! See Their Ridiculous Argument…

We're only a few days away from Warner Bros.' next big comic book flick, Suicide Squad, and fans are already taking sides!

The Will Smith movie has been hyped up a lot over the last year with exciting trailers, creepy images, and of course all those Jared Leto horror stories — but none of the hype kept the film from getting a thrashing by critics!

Unfortunately, this doesn't bode too well for the DCEU as Batman v Superman, despite a big opening weekend, was generally panned and underperformed at the box office overall as a result!

Some fans are doing their best to help protect their favorite anti-heroes and villains by starting a petition on Change.org.

The man who started it, Abdullah Coldwater of Alexandria, Egypt must have his head in the clouds because the petition aims to shut down review aggregating site RottenTomatoes entirely, claiming:

After the Beauty and the Beast teaser trailer smashed records with 92 million views in its first day, we're not surprised Disney is looking for its next live-action adaptation of a classic cartoon.

According to Deadline, the studio is in preliminary talks after hearing a pitch they liked — presumably one they thought could withstand Warner Bros. getting there first with Chloë Grace Moretz.

No other details have been revealed about the differences from the original, but this would just be the latest in the long lineup of animated Disney films getting the live-action treatment!

Disney Is Making Their Own Live-Action Peter Pan! See The LONG List Of Cartoon Classics Lined Up For Live-Action Reboots HERE!

Warner Bros. may have not had the best luck with the critically panned Pan last year — but now it looks like the OG studio is tackling a live action version of the boy who never grows up!

It's been reported that Disney is currently developing a live-action adaptation of their classic cartoon version of Peter Pan!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will be brought to life by director David Lowery and writer Toby Halbrooks — who just remade Pete's Dragon for the studio.

No other details have been revealed just yet, but this film is just the latest in the long lineup of animated Disney films getting the live-action treatment!

Despite its heroic box office earnings, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has fans divided — and NOT about which DC Comics hero they're rooting for!

Not everyone hated the superhero flick, but BvS was generally panned by the critics, which shook some fans' faith in director Zack Snyder!

Regardless of the film's lack of critical praise, the DC cinematic universe is about to expand faster than Ben Affleck's biceps, and not everyone wants Snyder in charge of that show — specifically, helming the upcoming Justice League movie!
