who framed roger rabbit still

For years, fans of the part-cartoon, part-live action classic Who Framed Roger Rabbit? have been chomping at the bit carrot to see a sequel!

But it seems their hopes have just had a piano of practicality dropped on their heads. And by the director no less!

Robert Zemeckis says that Disney would never let the movie get made today. He says:

Thundercats are back on Cartoon Network

They're baacckkkk!!

The cult cartoon series from the 80's are getting a reboot on Cartoon Network later this year and here's their new look!

We like Lion-O's new youthful look, but there's still one question on our mind.

Where's Snarf!?!

Hopefully we'll get a sneak peek at the best character on the show soon!

What do U think of the new animation?

What's Up Doc? Bugs Bunny Back On The Big Screen!

Some characters are legendary and when studios find themselves in a bit of a slump, they usually reach into their vault, pull out one of these timeless characters and use it to their advantage.

Case in point - Warner Bros. is in talks to make a new feature length Bugs Bunny movie.

The studio has taken a step in the right direction by hiring Elf screenwriter David Berenbaum to write the planned live action/CG feature film.

We think this could be a good choice for Warner Bros., if they really work with what they've got. Got to get big stars, got to have a stellar soundtrack and got to get Bugs back to his roots.

We want to see you make another Space Jam, not that other stoopid flick that starred Jenna Elfman and ended Brendan Fraser's career. That was unbearable.

ThunderCats Coming Back To TV!

This sounds like a MUCH better idea than a film adaptation!

The best '80s cartoon of all-time, ThunderCats, is getting a modern day, cartoon reimagining, set to air on the Cartoon Network in 2011!

Warner Bros. Animation's Sam Register says:

“In addition to being Warner Bros. Animation’s first anime series, ThunderCats marks our most ambitious foray yet into fantasy. The realism and dynamic visual style we’ve achieved are sure to thrill viewers, and the cool weapons, vehicles and technology should help the show appeal to a diverse audience.”

The story will follow our most beloved Lion-O as he ascends the throne and is a "sweeping tale combining swords and science and boasting ferocious battles with the highest of stakes."

The rest of the statement reads:

"As the forces of good and evil battle each other in the quest for the fabled Stones of Power, Lion-O and his champions learn valuable lessons of loyalty, honor and mortality in every episode.”

We usually hate these shiteous remakes, but we have a good feeling about ThunderCats! It's just what this generation's batch of kiddies needs!
