If at first you don't succeed, try again!

At the 2017 Oscars, Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway were famously given the wrong envelope, and mistakenly presented La La Land with the award for Best Picture instead of actual winner Moonlight.

For this year's ceremony on Sunday, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is doing everything in their power to give director Barry Jenkins and his producers the moment they deserve!

An insider tells Us Weekly:

"The Academy is giving Moonlight a proper chance to reaccept their Oscar award… Faye and Warren will present it to the cast again as the first award of the night."

That's nice and all, but it's not really the same thing as just getting it right the first time, is it?

Hopefully no one messes up this time!

Forget Ellen DeGeneres and her selfie, the Oscars have a new biggest moment now — their worst!

In the first promo for next year's show, airing live at 8 p.m. EST on Sunday March 4, 2018, ABC promised they "do it better," including "Better Surprises" — at which point they cut to the clip of Warren Beatty giving the Best Picture award to the WRONG MOVIE!

Video: Moonlight & La La Land's Casts & Crews React To That INSANE Oscars Mix-Up!

We imagine returning host Jimmy Kimmel will have to say something about it, but using it as a selling point? Like, "Hey tune in live, our incompetence could go viral again"?

Oh, and just out of curiosity, why are movies like Justice League, Daddy's Home 2, and American Made so prominent in this Academy Awards promo..? We mean… was that also a mistake?

The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences can't live down the Oscars' Best Picture mix up!

It's been over a month since Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty announced the wrong winner for the Best Picture award, but David Copperfield and Nancy O'Dell couldn't help but make fun of the snafu while presenting the Song Of The Year trophy at the Academy Of Country Music Awards.

Well played!

After jokingly announcing "Emma Stone, La La Land" as the winner, the two presenters corrected themselves by revealing that Thomas Rhett's Die A Happy Man was the real winner.

Oscars Envelope Screw-Up Explained! And The Color Scheme Is To Blame???

Envelope Gate won't die!

This drama won't end!

#EnvelopeGate continues with more explanations as to exactly what went wrong during the Best Picture announcement at the 89th annual Oscars Sunday night in Los Angeles.

At this point we all know Warren Beatty was handed the wrong envelope (the Best Actress one to be exact) and that Faye Dunaway mistakenly called out La La Land as the winner.

Well, the reason for that is because there were two Best Actress envelopes. One was in Emma Stone's possession, while the other was mistakenly given to Mr. Beatty.

PricewaterhouseCoopers, the accounting firm that oversees the envelopes, now explains that two of their reps, Martha Ruiz and Brian Cullinan, were stationed on both sides of the stage. Both also had their own briefcase containing envelopes of all the winners.

Ruiz handed off the Best Actress envelope when it was time to announce the award, the penultimate of the night, and then immediately following that, when Best Picture was about to be announced, Cullinan also handed off his duplicate of the Best Actress envelope. OOPS!!!

Another explanation also lies in the fact that

Was THIS PwC Accountant To Blame For The Oscars Best Picture Mix-Up?

He had one job… we think.

Everyone is still trying to get down to the bottom of the biggest mystery in Hollywood right now: how did Warren Beatty get the envelope for Best Actress when presenting Best Picture at the Oscars?

Well, it looks like the blame is now being pointed at Brian Cullinan (pictured above, right), none other than an accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The firm that handles the votes and envelopes for the Academy Awards already issued a statement on the mishap, saying they would be launching an investigation into the live blunder.

And apparently, the head they're offering up is Cullinan, a veteran who has been with the firm for 30 years.

According to reports, Brian was supposed to discard the duplicate Best Actress envelope and hand Beatty Best Picture, but got a bit distracted from all the glitz and glamor backstage.

Brian's Twitter page shows further evidence that he was in La La Land when he was supposed to be prepping for the final category.

The tweets have since been deleted, but a picture of Emma Stone and her Oscar was screenshotted from his page:

Here's How You're Supposed To Handle The Wrong Winner Being Announced At The Oscars

We'll never forget the historic mistake made at the Oscars with that whole La La Land/Moonlight fiasco.

However, the Best Picture mix-up of 2017 wasn't the first time the wrong winner was announced at the Academy Awards!

The Academy made a similar blunder in 1964 during the Best Music Score category, but presenter Sammy Davis Jr. handled the situation much better than the seasoned Warren Beatty did on Sunday night.

Back then, presenters were handed the winning envelope by an offstage handler right after announcing all the nominees.

That method didn't bode well for Davis, who tore the envelope open to read the winner — John Addison for Tom Jones — before quickly returning to the podium to admit he was given the wrong envelope, quipping:
